If she texts you, your reply depends on what she texts you (both what you say and how long you wait, or if you even reply at all). If she's that interested she will text you.
When I say "by the weekend" I mean if say on saturday you haven't heard from her, maybe send a text. Girls like to play these little games sometimes to test us, you know "Let's see what happens if I don't text him for a couple days". But you can do the same to them.
I'll give you a lengthy example of this kinda thing:
A girl I've been texting for a week or so from POF has flaked a couple of times when I've suggested hanging out. Yesterday after talking about it and her kinda blowing it off though still instantly replying she took like 3/4 hours to reply to my last text with just a "lol" and a load of fluff that had nothing to do with anything. I just flat out didn't respond at all, today she texts me "Hey pumpkin! You okay? x" this is telling me that she is interested but is flaking due to us only fluffing around the idea. So after a little fluff talk about what we'd been up to today I brought up the subject again, and again she started trying to avoid the topic, so I sent her this "Let's be serious here
I like talking to you and I don't play games, I'd like to get to know you better and the best way to do that is in person x"And after all her fluffing about saying "you gotta convince me you're worth it" and shit like that earlier on, she text back to that simply "Agreed
x" I've now told her I'm going to call her tomorrow and we're gonna make plans.So her words were saying she's not sure about hanging out, she might not be that interested in me etc, however her actions after my freeze-out signalled otherwise (I should note that I've done quite a few mini freeze-outs with this girl over instant messenger aswell, making her re-initiate if she gives a boring or pointless reply to something, she complied everytime). So after witnessing this behaviour from her several times I realised that she's just indecisive - as was I in a way - and it was up to me to just come out and say 'this is how it is'. And with that text I sent I think a key part of it was saying "I don't play games" which is subtly hinting that I'm not gonna stand anymore flaking.
