L: Did you want to watch the play? - that's even worse than asking her indirectly when. Asking for her confirmation on something she has already agreed to do.

N: Hey, my parents said I can go but all the tickets are sold out.
L: Awww gay, its ok lets go watch a movie or something. - I lost count on how many times you've asked her already
N: Nah, I am gonna go try waiting at the front.
L: wtf? do they sell tix at the front?

So I strategically sat next to this hb8 (N) in my english class, but I never opened her. 2 weeks go by and she opens me LOL. N: Hi, you are sitting next to me but idk you. L: Hey, my name is Lucky. N: My name is N. L: Did you watch the play yet? (Play is an extra credit assignment) N: No, I'm gonna watch it this sunday. Did you watch it? L: I want to but I don't want to watch it by myself. N: I'll watch it with you. The professor calls me up for my evaluation. I finish my evaluation and she is up next. I was packing my backpack and as she is walking. L: Did you want to watch the play? N: Ya, get my number. L: My number is xxx xxx xxxx N: K I will text you. An hour passes and I am at the gym and she texts me. N: Hey this is N. This is my number. L: Hey, blah blah blah. like 10 text convos later. N: I don't think i can go anymore. My parents friends are moving in. L: Do your parents friends have kids your age? N: No. L: WTF? Then let's just go. Be like its an extra credit assignment and I got a C on my last paper. Plus this really good looking guy is going to take me. N: LOL. I saw her peeking at me LOL. My next move?

Dude read your post but swap your part of the convos with hers and put yourself in her position. You'll know what wrong with it and next time don't be as needy. Imagine if you just said to her that you couldn't go anymore and make up an excuse. What do you think the result might been?

Can you specify where I asked her out twice? The first time, she willingly offered but when it didn't seem like it was going to go thru, I asked her to the movies which she declined. I didn't ask her again after that.

Oh ok, I see them now. For my defense... 1. Ya that 1 i was fishing. 2. Hhhmmmm, it wasn't my intention but it may have come off like that. I was leaving class and I just wanted to get her number. 3. I wasn't trying to react... I was trying to be funny, which she responded positively. But I deleted all my texts recently because I thought my phone was running slowly, so the words aren't word for word. 4. The thing is I don't neccessarily need this girl to go out with me cause I have others I can always take out... However, you made reasonable deductions from the information given and for that I applaud and thank you.
