Hey all,

So here is my question, let me set it up for you. Say your out with a girl for drinks somewhere or a night out and someone you know or she knows comes over and starts talking to you two. The question you know thats going to be asked is "Are you two dating?" or "Is this your gf?"

How can you answer the question without saying that your dating or she is your gf without offending the girl your with or saying the wrong thing? How can I turn that question around or slide it to the way side?

For me I'm not dating this girl but we are seeing each other sexually. And I'm dreading the one time that this happens to me because I don't know what a good answer is.

Depends on your frame :)

Are you two dating?
Nah, we are just a modern version of Bonnie and Clyde looking for fun.

Is this your gf?
No, shes my mom...

Haha not bad. However the response "No, she's my mom" probably wouldn't work well because this girl has some years on me lol.

Thanks for the input ranger24, keep it coming.

I've had trouble with this question before, I can generally handle any situation but this is one of them that I get a bit stuck on now and again.

You could try taking it rediculous, so "Is this your gf?" and you reply with "Gf? No no no, this is my wife, we had 2 blissfully happy years, but the arrival of our first born last year has taken it's toll".
Something silly like that or maybe turn to the girl your with and say "how long has it been now hunny, 2 or 3 years?" and get her to play along aswell.
