Hi guys,

The other night, I took a girl who I'd just met back to my place for a drink. It was cool, we just chilled out. As she was leaving, I asked her for a goodnight kiss (a bit AFC perhaps?!). She said no, so I didn't insist. I literally did nothing, said bye and she left.

When she got home, she texted me saying how she enjoyed meeting me, bla bla bla, the usual shit. But at the very end of the text, she wrote: "...If you ever try to kiss me again, I will punch you!" She put a smiley face at the end, and we've been in touch since, so I guess she was joking! She's foreign & I was a little drunk, so it just made me laugh my arse off at the time when I read it!

Fast forward to today. There is a chance that she MIGHT come over for a drink at my place tonight. On FB chat, she said something like : "Yeah maybe. If you promise not to kiss me or take me to any casinos (the casino thing is an "in joke" between her & I).

So my question is, should I even bother trying to kiss her again? Obviously if she says no again, then no means no, and I'm fine with that. But I'm thinking she might be tempted, but that she's "playing hard to get."

What do you think?

Hard to advise you on what to do here. It's either she wants you to man up and kiss her or you are friend zoned. You are the only one that can see the way she acts around you. Are you guys friends? You need to increase sexual vibe. Try some subtle sexual jokes and kino. She how she reacts to your touch, look deep into her eyes when you speak, slow down your voice. Basically lead up to a kiss through setting the mood and then do it. Don't ask lol.

But seriously dude, you are the only one here that knows if your in a friend zone or not. So gauge her reactions to your more subtle advances first and then decide if she is into you.

Just the fact that she used those exact words "I will punch you!" I dunno if my being drunk made it funnier, but I just found it hilarious! One of, if not THE best text I've ever got from a girl! :lol:

If she's coming over your place where you two are alone AND drinking, there is a good chance she's thought about kissing you too. Your first mistake was asking for a kiss and she turned the situation around to where she's alpha-ing you. You'll probably have to go through a few shit tests if you try anything now.
However, from the context of the text, she's probably half testing you and half joking. I say kiss her man. She probably hits like a sissy anyway.

yes never ask for a kiss its totally AFC and non-attractive to woman, if you ever do that again in your lifetime you should punch yourself in the crotch.

As far as how to react , take it as a shit test because that's what it is. My larger question is your intent with this woman. F-close asap? make out buddys? Trying to make her your girlfriend? Back patting study buddy?

Seems like your headed for the friends zone unless you take dramatic action like the Italian ship captain.

Update :

She came to my place for pizza & drinks last night. We talked, laughed, it was cool.

I tried on maybe three occasions to kiss her, she said no, so that was that. However, she DID let me kiss her on the forehead and neck (more than once), but she just wasn't down with actually making out! We even gave each other a massage! I tried to lead, saying she could take my shirt off (which she did). Then there were some hugs & hand holding.

Before the massage and after my 1st failed attempt to kiss her, I told her very clearly that without wanting to be harsh, I had lots of female friends & didn't need any more. She said she didn't understand why I had this attitude, she seemed genuinely sad etc. Then I kind of "backtracked", saying that maybe we could meet up again & just see how it goes (she said she wants this). She said she thinks I'm cute & I get the distinct impression that she's attracted to me.

At one point, I smirked when she asked me about a couple of other girls. After that she got really curious, seeming really keen to know if I'd fucked any of them (she asked me outright, more than once! Jealous??) p.s. I hadn't fucked any of them, was just trying to make her curious!

I can't really decide what to do! I think there's gonna too much BS & time wasted with her, so maybe I should just "next" her?! Or maybe she genuinely just wants to get to know me better, doesn't have to kiss me first couple of nights, etc?? She's Italian, so maybe more conservative? (Anti-slut defence?)

It's just frustrating that she let me touch her, we massaged each other but NO kissing! WTF?!

I would, but the main factor is the emotional capital you are investing. No one on these forums ever computes that into the mix, but for me, the more emotionally dependent on the outcome I am, the more reason I should be moving on, lest I get all salty and butthurt.

If you don't give a fuck then I would just keep plowing for experience if nothing else. However I predict you care too much.

I found the magic number of NOs is about 6 for me before I give up LOL. Keep going man. Don't rush the kiss, do some push pull, don't just escalate without taking it away a little too. Maybe brush up on some ASD stuff.

I'm thinking that I'm not gonna text/call/message her under any circumstances & wait until she contacts me. Is this the right way to go? Or if I "delay", will she just lose interest completely?

I saw the girl tonight. We said hi, but I was with another (hotter) girl, so I just practically ignored her! A bit harsh perhaps, but I think she was jealous! Well played by myself on this occasion, I believe!
