So I met this girl about 3 weeks ago at a club meeting in college. We were playing pool and there was one really creepy guy constantly hitting on her and asking for her number (to which she straight up told him no). I came in, "rescued" her from the creepy guy - ran some smooth game and got her number. Since then we went on one date the next day and after that we have been in text game and she is extremely responsive but always busy and we have not arranged a second date.
Here's a brief synopsis of our conversations:
Me: Hey me and a friend are getting kbbq on Monday night, wanna go? Were leaving around 7 (previously found out that she had never been to kbbq)
Girl: Hey Flyingsmurf! Monday nights my roommate and me have dinner together. Have fun though
Me: haha don't you want to have some fun and try something new?? besides, I'm payin
Girl: lol that's so sweet! I already promised my roommate that we'd have dinner Monday though
Sorry Me: No worries, ur loss haha
(4 days later)
Me: But yeah if ur ever free one night just let me know. Id be glad to take you. If not, no big deal either way =)
Girl: That's so sweet, I'll let you know
(4 days later)
Me: Hey, I'm not doing anything Sunday night if you want to try again for kbbq.
(1 day later)
Girl: My roommate and floormate wanted to go see a movie then
did you go to [club] yesterday, btw?Me: Yeah I did, but it was kinda boring. Me and [friend] just messed around the whole time.
(1 day later)
Girl: Oh really? [bs bs bs]
Me: Nah it was the same as usual. Why you so busy all the time haha?
So yeah, what do you think? Is this girl just being nice and is really busy, or is it just her making excuses and I should move on?
