Need help with getting a day 2 after a perfect day 1

Post subject:  Need help with getting a day 2 after a perfect day 1
So here is the deal:
  • * Met a girl about two weeks ago while leaving a club, got her name, added her on facebook and never talked to her until sometime last week
    * Last thursday i asked her out for drinks to which she agreed
    * I took her to a bar where a friend of mine is the manager, so we got the best table, got free shots, all good
    * at first i sat in front of her, and started talking and i noticed she was having great fun
    * at some point i went to the bathroom and when i returned i smoothly sat next to her and started kinoing. first hand and then hugged her
    * we kissed twice at the bar and i gently pushed her away in the middle of the kisses to demonstrate im in control and not desperate
    * took her back to my place for a drink and then walked her home since she lives very close by. Didnt f*ck her because I really like her and didnt want to mess my chances
    * while at my place i went to the restroom, and while i was at the bathroom she found a piece of paper that had a heart drew on it with my name that another girl had drawn a few weeks before. She wrote on this "wtf is this?? Then signed the paper with her name and the date we hanged out.
OK, this is were the story gets tricky...
The next day she called me and told me she was sorry. I'm like sorry for what?
She apologized for kissing me at the bar. I'm like theres nothing wrong with that! Then she says the problem is she was kinda dating someone so it was not right. I told her not to worry and to relax.

After this i have asked her out twice and both times got rejected with valid reasons (the first time it was her girlfriends birthday). yesterday i got rejected because she already had made plans and i called really late so i think it was a valid reason too...


bottom line is i feel like i've lost confidence and like i'm losing her and i've lost the game here.
im looking for advice on how i should proceed from here after being rejected twice even though we had a perfect night when we went out and gave several IOI's.

should i keep asking her out? back up and not talk to her for a few weeks?
