Yeah, I didn't hear from anyone in time, so I decided to wing it. Talked to her on the phone, started the conversation with "So what are you doing in December?". She laughs, and then asks me why she has to wait until December to see me. I explain my business trip to NYC, and she talks some about her trip to NYC for Thanksgiving. We bullshit a little, and I tease her about us not being "internet friends". She immediately shoots me an email and adds me on facebook or myspace, or whatever ridiculousness that I don't usually keep up with. We talk some more, blah blah, flirt and have fun. Then I tell her I have to go study for a professional exam, and end the conversation. Oh yeah, somehow in all this she also decided to email me a picture of herself.
Anyways, I think the call went pretty well, and I'm not going to contact her again until after my biz trip. I think what I'll do (I'm a former New Yorker), is write up a kind of itinerary of places that I want her to visit in the city. All of which will be very cool, and yet be places where she's unlikely to meet some other guy
. Ideally, I'll be on her mind, even though I'm not there with her, as she visits the spots.Anyway, any opinions on my game plan? I feel like I worked the phone pretty well this time.
