Post subject:  number closing and a lil more

i'm a freshman in college and school started 2 weeks ago. its still at that point where people can still walk up and introduce themselves and nobody feels wierd or awkward or any of that. I have been getting over my AA by just introducing myself to groups or to girls. i useually have good conversations with girls and they tend to be flirtatious in person but i have only pulled 2 numbers in 2 weeks which for college i feel is sub par ecspecially since i have introduced myself to atleast 30 women maybe even as high as 50. ( i mean come on 2 for 50 ... andrew bynum would have a better day shooting three pointers). This being my situation i have a couple questions that i hope can be answered

1) are you supposed to introduce yourself first or ask for her name or is she supposed to ask for your name and introduce herself?

2) what are some good number closes?

3) when i get girls numbers alot of times they dont text or call back how do i stop this from happening?

as for the girls not texting you back this is called flaking and theres a couple main reasons for flaking that i like to break it down to.

1. you didnt build enough attraction

-you need to make her WANT to call you
-she should be the one chasing you

2. she didnt invest in you enough

-what i mean by this is she feels like she didnt work hard enough to get you and everyone knows if you work hard for something you will be a heck of a lot happier if you actually succeed in that something
- to build more investment from the girl ask her deep questions or have her qualify herself to you that way she will feel like she worked for you and if she doesn't call you it will be a waste of her hard invested time

3. shes just one of those girls

- there is a small chance that shes just a girl that likes to toy with guys and then never call them back or never hang out with them
-if your constantly getting flakes chances are its not just because every girl you meet is "one of those girls" so its most likely reason 1 or 2

I usually like to introduce myself first that way leading the conversation and then maybe giver her a little nickname once she tells me her name.

As for good number closes just tell her shes really cool and youd like to keep in touch and whats the best way to contact you which she will usually say phone number and if she gives facebook/myspace/whatever then just number close her on there.

any tips on how to stop flaking or is it like a complete game issue

most of the time to prevent flaking you have to either get her more attracted to you in the initial point or get her to invest in you more by making her work for you more. because think about it if you work really really hard to get a girl even if shes only an HB7 your most likely gonna say yes if she asks you out just because otherwise it was a waste of your time.

there are a couple tips and tricks that sometimes might work to lessen flaking. for example when you ask a girl out if you think she will flake make it casual by saying something like "hey me and my friends are headin to the park wanna tag along?" this way she doesnt feel as pressured and its not much of a more "formal" date.

try this link it helps you understand flaking a little bit its a little video just type in your email address.

Just to follow on..

how can you make sure you have hinted that you want to meet up again without actually asking to exchange numbers? In other words how can you make sure there is enough attraction whilst playing a tight game at the same time?
