Hmm.. What about making it seem like you were the one that was running late. For example: Hey can I ask a question? I have to meet up with my friends, so it'll only take a few seconds. (Ask the question maybe something like "Do u know any good movies that are out? My friends and I cant decide on what to watch") n when shes done answering, take a step away from her, come back n say "While I have your attention, let me get your opinion on something, blah blah blah" talk over your shoulder like your about to leave. It's more comfortable and less direct.
This way she knows your going to leave so she doesn't have to make up an excuse for her to leave. I saw this on Youtube, and the over the shoulder technique I read from "The Game" by Neil Strauss. I've tried it once, and it was working, however I was too scared to number close.
