The mall I go to is indoors and their is usually only walking two sets, or I'll see a cute girl in the make up section or in the girls section of a clothing store...I'll try direct openers, opinion openers anything you will give me advice on, or you can just help me with this one "hey I saw you from across the mall, and I wouldn't be able to forgive myself if I didn't say hi" then I'd say where are you from or something...any advice? thanks.

Don't say "where are you from" as a follow up to an opener. Make an observation about her or the mall or your surroundings. Yesterday I did a direct approach on this little hottie in the mall and I followed it up with "I'm Dave." and as I shook her hand I said "Jesus Christ, that is a lot of bracelets." there's nothin amazing about that, but making a stupid observation is always better than asking a question that early.
You could even say "You look like you're from xyz" I stead of saying "where are you from"

Post subject:  Mall Chicks
I've been working to meet a few girls and have them get to know me. Basically I focus on the CD store in my mall and the cell phone kiosk, since I'm genuinely out of contract and waiting for the new verizon phones. I never stick around longer than a few minutes, always make them laugh, and leave on a high note. Both girls (Sarah and Chrissy) know my name now and I know all sorts about them.

While this hasn't lead to anything yet, I'm hoping to meet up with them outside of the mall sometime soon. :)
