I have been in the army the past year or so and I have come home to find I am the little AFC as I once was. All knowledge of game I had is nearly gone, as if I had been brainwashed. Thought I would go shopping to try and get back into it but I just couldn't do it, seriously bad AA. My heart skipped a beat whenever I made eye contact with a girl for a split second and looked away. Looks like I have to start all over again and I have no idea how to get back into it. Can you guys give me some tips on approach anxiety and how to handle it because lets face it, it's always gonna be there, it's how you overcome it. Please guys I have no idea what's happened to me and I want to get back into the game so bad. |

You just gotta get over it man. I have always looked at it this way, if your rejected, you will be in the exact same place as if you never tried, you will probably never see the target again, and you wont remember it the next day, or probably even the next hour. So go out there and get rejected, you will remember its no big deal, it happens to everyone. |

I agree with Hunter. Just got to go for it. There is basically two outcomes that can come from going up to a girl and talking to her. 1. You go up, start talking it goes really well and you have some fun, and make a friend… 2. You go up to her, she not in to it, you say nice to meet you, and you walk away. Now in either of those situations, did the world come to an end? Did you die? Did all your friends and family disown you? NO! Also, I like to keep a log recording the emotional journey. That way if you ever come back to this state again, you can have a guide for getting back to being awesome. |
