Yeah, it's a bad idea to tell her that, let women get the hint u are picking them up and not being big-mouthed about it, u would have immediately change the topic to something fun, well, its all part of the lessons we learn in the game.

Fuck that. I like it. You had her laughing for a minute and then you let the joke drop. The joke was good. You should've kept it going, but judging by your post it seems like you ran out of material. When this happens, BAIL. You want to be the one that cuts the conversation off. Letting her do so gives her all the power.

It was going great until you mentioned using pick-up.

Like SLD said, you're better option would have been to BAIL when you couldn't think of anything else to say. The playfulness was good, you got her intrigued, laughing, and bantering.

On a side note:
I'm sure you were going to do this eventually, but just to remind you once you get the girl laughing and intrigued like this then attempt to get the MEET-UP. After all, that's what we really want, right?

Yup. If you're being fun and she likes it, then clearly you were doing something right. Expressing interest in her and saying you're hitting on her is fine. I've talking to this girl on Facebook because she added me and I perused her photos and she was attractive so I decided to send her a message. She goes to my old high school, and so I'm betting on her knowing who I am - she did add me first. I was the most popular person there in my year and I know for a fact that many of the teachers still mention me. She would have been in grade 10 when I was in grade 12. I'm trying for a number close. I'm fairly lost after that, but as for the conversation, she's unresponsive so far.
