hello everybody I'm 25, lurking for a couple days, while I read The Game I'm also suffering from oneits after a long relationship (6 years), even after a couple months but I hadn't been with anyone else during this period, so I'm trying to fix things up while I don't like nightclubs and I don't have many single friends in my city, I was thinking about just trying to approach some woman to lose fear for starters, I'm always leaving my house ready for a date (clean, shaved, nice clothes, etc... which is something I didn't do before since I don't care too much about my appearance) anyway today I was LEAVING a doctor's office and I noticed a girl staring me for a couple seconds in the reception room it was like: - I get out and make eye-contact with the girl looking at me - I look away and check her with my peripheral vision for 1 or 2 seconds... she keeps looking - I make eye-contact again and she's still looking (but now she looks away) maybe I'm getting overconfident after reading a little, but I considered she was into me the problem is... I was LEAVING, I had nothing else to do there so... I couldn't think on anything to start a conversation that wouldn't look weird is there something that I could have done, just in case something similar happens again? the best I could think was something lame like "hey, is your name [something]?" |

just memorize some openers or say some funny bullshit, the worst that can happen is that she excuse herself and leave, for sure better than not saying anithing. example me:hey nice shoes hb:thanks me:i'm talking about mine geez... anyway bla bla or shit like that or just goand touch her and say TAG i'm playing a game that i have to touch all the nice girls i see and withu is 10 points (dont remember whos the credits of these) |

smile (important) and just say "hey, how's it going?" go from there. it's not complicated all the time or anytime. simple stuff. what you thinking will work. |

In the social setting of a doctor's office, I think "hey, how's it going?" is ok. She gave you an IOI by eye contact, plus it's not a nightclub where all the bitchshields are high |
