Hey guys, I have a big problem. I have confidence issue and I am having MAJOR approach anxiety. Anyone know any ways to counter confidence issue and AA? Many thanks |

hey man i was in the same boat as you i just kept telling myself that if i dont try then i cant succeed and if i fail then its just a learning opportunity. then i tell myself on to the next one. hope this helps AA sucks balls. |

one method to beat AA is to go to a place frequented by alot of people you will never see again and try to open them with things you know will fail. like my dad used to beat me....can i get your number or on a scale from 1 to 10 what are you doing tonight? it will de-sensitize you from rejection once you get over that try opening with good material and then once you are comfortable with that try it in the field! |

You just have to get your head around the fact that approaching really is NOT a big deal. You will probably never see that person again (if it goes badly). Just think of it as your going up to talk to someone, learn a bit about them and go from there. Maybe their for you, maybe their not, but you never know if you dont go and talk to them. Also read this new thread; allow-yourself-to-be-afraid-vt77784.html?highlight= There are scarier things out there than approaching. |

Many thanks A major help for me has been the book ´How to become and Alpha Male´ by John Alexander. Also get a routine up first on how to open and what to talk about. It will be a major help if you at least know what you are doing. Proper preparation is not to be underestimated. Second, get yourself a wingman who will push you to go out in the field. AA will never really go away but you can minimalize it by practising a lot. |

When you go out take a piece of paper in your back pocket with some openers on it. review these in the bathroom of a club or a bar or something, the first ever game material i used was the "hey are you guys shy? cause ive been over there talking to my buddy for the past five minutes and you havent come to say hi yet." it worked like magic, it worked so well all my friends started using it that night and some girls actually had it used on them twice hahahaha. Try that one, its easy and hard to get shot down with. Good luck man. Just keep telling yourself your the shit, because you are hommie. |

Hey I did two openers today for the first time deliberately and its just a way of getting into there attention zone innocently. One was hi do you know anywhere i can get a decent coffee on a stationary target in a strange town- success! and the other was in a supermarket asking two women at the halloween stall 'Do you think this cape will go well with my daughters witch outfit?' and we chatted for a couple of minutes. They were more than happy to help and I cant believe it was so easy to get chatting to them as im shy and am really starting to believe I can do all this stuff! Have done the 'Hi' thing for a month and it all really does work! If I do get action at a later date stepping up through stages like been told these early posts ar gonna seem embarrasing! Its all about breaking through these fears we have because they are fiction! Just break down each door as it blocks your way at your own pace cause you will get there I think! Best of luck. |
