'sup guys, today was my second approach to a 2 set in a bar, I used girl kiss girl opener but I froze right after I used it... they were hb6 and hb7, and I had in my head plenty of routines and topics but suddenly I couldn't get to a topic other than the opener.. and I didn't knew what to say so I ended it as "thanks for your advice lady's it was nice to meet ya". the same thing happened to me in the first approach.. can you help me in this? cheers. |

Okay man, let's go. I'm sure that girls answered something to you, right? Then, you can use their words to jump in another conversational topics. Let's see some examples? 1. Opener: PUA: "I love apple juice, and you?" HB: "I love orange juice." Look... We have three possible conversational topics: love, juice and orange. Then, you may change to... 2. Middle Conversational: PUA: "Oh, love is something really strong... Have you ever been in love with someone?" (Topic 1) OR PUA: "I like juice. It is so refreshing drink a nice glass of juice in summer..." (Topic 2) OU PUA: "Orange? Wow, nice citric fruit! But, hey, if orange is, of course, orange, and bananas are yellow... Why we don't have BLUE fruits?" (Topic 3) [Please, note that these are fictional examples] If you start jumping from topics this way you can hit a subject which she really adores. Then, IOIs to you! Cya! |

thanks guys, RWies - your answer is very helpful, but what do you do if they answer "yes/no" and that's it? exmple: PU: Hey there lady's, see I need to know if girl kiss girl, is that cheating? HB: No. PU: ? Cheers. |

dont ask questions that can be answered with yes or no! ask questions that require them to say more than one word. dont say "is it cheating?" say " i think its cheating, whats your opinion in the matter?" |

Quote: thanks guys,
Never do this. But, in case it happens, just continue what you was talking about, as if they distracted you.

| Post subject: | continuing the opener |
I agree, I think this is a common sticking point for guys new to the game, including me. Infact, its the main component of my AA - I think to myself...but what will I say once I run the opener?? One tactic im employing to get over this is to PLAN to leave once I have done the opener. The theory is, without the pressure to continue the interaction, you should find that continuing it becomes more natural, and if it doesnt, leave and practice opening another set. Im going to try this tomorrow to overcome my AA, so will let you know how it goes, but in theory I think it should work - as you get comfortable with new social interactions you should feel yourself naturally moving the conversation.
