Well, it's a pretty cool game that I was trying out in various places, I believe that this is an "Ice breaker".
It's called "The shoulder game".

Once you approach to her, ask if she knows the shoulder game (she would say "no"), place her on your left side, Use your left hand, and touch your right shoulder, then your left, touch her right shoulder and then her left - at the end you should get that you put your arm around her.

Enjoy.

So while your tapping shoulders, what is SHE doing?
...Watching you?

I just don't see it being very engaging for the girl. If you walk in and present her with a 'game,' then she is expecting to do something, right?

As it is now, the only way I could see this working is if you transition FAST! Like, run the shoulder game in ~5 seconds or under. Then, once you have your arm around her, do what Tony suggested and introduce yourself, (after the introductions you'd have to transition AGAIN quite fast to keep her intrigued and not freaked out).

All-in-all with a few tweaks, I see it having potential

Can we field test / build this up with more ideas? I could see this being a very huge way of separating you from "just another guy that's hitting on me.."

You right she does nothing, because you do it fast enough, that it going to take her some seconds to realize that you got her fooled... .

U cud put it like dis, offer to tell her some interesting fact and wen she agrees tell her something like "did u know dat the distance from here to here (indicating from wrist to elbow) is the same as the distance between ur shoulders" and just do as above touchin her left and right shoulder and leave ur arm around her. shud get a laugh anyway

Good technique but would work much better after an opener.
ex.

Run opener
false time contraint
notice something 'neg'
shoulder game
lead her around the venue while doin routine

Agreed.
I think this would do quite well in the comfort stage :)
