| Post subject: | Eye Contact (lie) situation |
ohk i know there was a eye contact thread already but this one is different... since reading NLP and body language i can tell very well when a person is lying to me by looking at their eye movements(NLP) and their body language, the thing that fucks my game the most is when im looking at the persons eyes, i dont have a problem with the eye contact its once i made the contact and start talking to her, once i know if she had lied to me my brain automatically clicks and i wouldnt know what to fukin do. Dilaks: hey whats the best part of your day today? HB: nothing... Dilaks: wow, are you always this interesting to talk to? HB: hahahah uhhmmm...... i went shopping to get some clothes (lie) Dilaks brain: wtf she jus fukin lied to me!! ????....... BLANK........ Dilaks: *looks confused and stupid* this doesnt seem to be a very good example and i know reading a person requires listening to the tone of voice, body movements, eye movements etc. with NLP once you know if theyr visual, auditory or kinaesthetic its easier to tell if shes lying or not. for me lying is a major problem coz i dont wanna girl who talks bullshit all the time, any advice? i've tried to continue the convo but this whole lying thing just gets me so much that my mind goes blank |

Its good that you can spot a lie, but why does it matter? If its something like you mentioned above thats bothering you, then just ask her non-specific questions/statements to continue the conversation "Oh right, where do you like to go", "I like to go to GAP..." etc. Just dont say anything that says I know you're lying like "Where did you go?", "What did you buy?". Just because they're called Lies doesn't mean their intent is bad. She may have something to hide or doesn't feel that what she did was more interesting. |

seems like an obvious chance to neg her. if you can read when theyre lieing, use it to your advantage. call her out on it. =============================================== PUA: hey whats the best part of your day today? HB: nothing... PUA: wow, are you always this interesting to talk to? Smile HB: hahahah uhhmmm...... i went shopping to get some clothes (lie) PUA: Aww cmon, I know thats a lie 2 results will come: Result 1: HB: lol no its not PUA: Yeah it is. I can tell cause your darted your eyes down and to the left. OR pull the "When I walked by you I felt some kind of connection, I can just tell your lieing. HB: *intrigued* Result 2: HB: how do you know? PUA: I can tell cause your darted your eyes down and to the left. OR pull the "When I walked by you I felt some kind of connection, I can just tell your lieing. HB: *intrigued* =============================================== at this point, shes surprised, shes curious, it gives you PLENTY of room to work with. for example, move on to teach her some basic Body language reading (Nothing to give you away.) or use it as a chance to show off your prowess, for example, move on to tell her you want to show her a trick and go for some cold reading |

Hmmmmm. Are you sure that you are such a good lie detector? Even the best body language and NLP experts in the world would concede that it isn't quite so straight forward. Because everyone is different, you have to know a person's natural truthful response to a range of questions: one's that are just mundane, one's that are intimate, some that are sad etc etc. Then it's only by comparing an answer to their truthful responses that you can really get an accurate impression of a "lie". Even with this approach, the best in the world struggle and have to use slow motion video to detect microexpressions and tiny twitches. I think that you should ditch the lie detector! It sounds like it's holding you back within the first minute of meeting someone. You might be missing out on someone amazing because you've misread the way they are. |
