Hi all, I want to approach a girl at my work (office environment). The building is big though, so I sometimes don't run into her for days. I've been introduced to her by a friend of mine and I basically just say hi/good morning to her when I see her. I want to actually have a conversation with her, but she's always with people when I bump into her. I know where she sits in the building...therefore, I was thinking about going up to her desk and chatting her up. I already have a few things in mind on how to open it up with regards to work related stuff...but I want to end it in one of the following ways: 1) Would you like to take a walk/break 2) Do you want to go out for lunch some time today or this week 3) I have to run but is there any way we can further talk over msn perhaps? So I'm asking the PUAs...are the above 3 options not a good idea? Is it too quick to ask these types of questions? Any other options or advice on how I can end a quick convo with her? Is going up to her desk a bad idea? Thanks |

I personally wouldn't specifically go to her at her desk. If you could make it as if it was on your way to something, I think that would be better. If it's possible, when you do next see her around and she's not too busy you could strike up a chat that's a bit longer, with some negs and playful teasing. Then maybe you could email her (sparingly!) and carry on gaming her that way for a bit, so next time you see her you'll have more stuff to talk about, and it might actually justify a direct desk visit in future, as well as getting a lunch/after work date. |

Build up social value,let everybody know that you are cool...this way you will bump into her |

Build up a reputation about something,make friends in the whole building so you will bump into her |

Hey guys, Can't believe how long it's been since I posted this. I still havn't grown the balls to approach.... Two main problems for me: 1) She's always at her desk and rarely leaves. You guys advised that approaching at her desk is not a good idea 2) The other times, she's ALWAYS with someone else. I'm too nervous, afraid and embarassed to approach with a friend with her. What if her first line is, sorry got a boyfriend...i'll look like an idiot in front of someone else as well. What do you all think?? I can try to catch her walking in at work in the mornings...that's probably the only time she's alone but she may think I'm like stalking her or something loll.. I'm friends with tons of people but none of them are associated to her or the people she work with. I work in a huge company and building with thousands of employees. What do you guys think? |
