This mall opener hit me as I was lying in bed this morning. Gonna try it next time I'm at the mall. I thought I'd share here first for some insight. This opener should be used as you are passing by your targets because it is never a good start to be chasing women from behind. You: "Hey, do you guys know if there is a Borders or Barns & Nobles here?" HBs: "Yeah, its...." Or "No, theres..." You: "Thanks. Man, girls are like GPS' in the mall." HBs: "Haha. Yeah, such and such..." Build from there. |

Well, I think that you can come up with a better opener. You are just asking your target a yes or no question. The will say yes and tell you where it is or just say no. It seems like it would be hard to build from there. You should open with a story or a more open ended question or get their opinion on something. |

Yeah I understand that in most circumstances a situational question would fail to hold attention, but its a non-threatening question to build off of. When followed by the "GPS" statement I think it would actually open up the set quite well. After which you could easily follow with... "while I have your attention, can I get a female opinion on something?"... In my opinion I dont think it's as closed up as you are making it appear. One way to find out though. Guess I need to go field test. Hehe Other thoughts? |

The joke is weak n won't spark much of a convo being clever is being unexpected.. Saying what people don't expect in an ironic way. Gps and directions are synonomous so it's predictable. You want her to be like ahahaha then when she's laughing u pull ur dick out. BAM how's that for a closer. |

Yeah I get the fact that question openers can seem pretty weak. For that reason, I wanted to check with you lovely forum members first. Can I get some suggestions on a better mall opener? Anyone have any ideas for mall game or some tested shit that I could steal from to build off of? |

Here's a cocky-funny approach. Most malls have that directory thing that basically works as a map of the mall. So what you could do is ask her where a store you already know is: You: Hey excuse me, do you know where ____ is? Girl: Uhh yeah, blah blah blah. You: Ok thanks. Yeah I probably could have just looked at the directory but I just wanted a reason to talk to you. My names _____ , nice to meet you. Bam, you've opened. |

I'm with you Winters Chill. I think a more opinion-based opener in a mall situation would seem slightly odd, so to lead on to this with a straightforward question and to lighten the mood with a joke is the best way to come in under the radar. Let us know how it goes, I may have to field test that myself |

This seems like alright opener, you can build on it by asking if theres an expensive store and then go into 'is it ok for a guy to buy a 200$ shirt' |
