Post subject:  Super Quick Day Game #CLOSE...now i need advice
Walk into a sandwhich shop. 3 smoking HB's behind the counter. all asians. my friends who were there agreed she was Import Model hot. i get good eye contact IOI. ask about the sandwiches. order the food, but am told by one of the other HB's that they only accept cash. i tell them i'll run to the SPAM.

i come back, get long eye contact IOI again. i give the one corner of the mouth slight smile. i get one in return. pay, and tell her i'll be back for the food in 5 minutes as i grab something at the store next over.

i come back and walk to the counter.

Me: so, would ur boyfriend care that ur flirting with me?
HB: what?
Me: (repeat)
HB: well, i don't know if we're really together
Me: good (slide my phone over and HB types in her number)
HB: my name is jenny.
Me: okay (and i Leave.)

Now, stupid me. i never told her my name. is that a big deal? i wish i would have held my hand out for the kino and the squeeze test. (i can't believe i didn't. i always do that test) anyways, i texted when i got to the car so she'd know to my number when i call.

Txt msg: i'm that cute guy that just bought sandwhiches from u 5 minutes ago. there was something about u that caught my eye, that i think u should know abt. my name is Stix, btw.

no response back. (i'm starting to notice chicks aren't replying or replying positively to a text as the first communication after a cold approach #close). i will call her. any advice? i'm thinking the randomness and mysteriousness is attractive to her. but it was a quick #close, with barely any A-phase and absolutely no C-phase. so does this really help or hurt me?

Im loving it(lol)!!!

Like the way you did that very casually & simple(# close).

And I also find that the best way to # close is by sliding your phone to the target which puts her on the spot,and she's less likely to refuse that to ask like a wuss.

Why the hell are you worrying about telling her your name? It's no damn big deal!

All you have to do is just hit her with some call-back humor(concept popularized by Neil Strauss,Styles).

Whenever you call her,just say a little humorous line from the sandwhich spot,which will in turn remind her of who you are and the good vibe she felt.

Guys on the forum stress names but I dont think it's that important.

If she's into you,she'll remember that vibe more.

If she's into you,she'll then ask for your name in further chats.

You didnt have to text her the short line and your name but it was still a decent move.

Now to the psychology and deeper things:

Texting is great for reminders,etc. as what you did to tell her your name.

Text isnt good when trying to build attraction and comfort.

And the main problem is that you didnt build enough attraction or anything to make this HB want to hook up.

You absolutely did NOTHING!!!

However smooth the #close was,you went for it prematurely.

Too damn fast!!

You did not attract the girl(enough).

I used to have same prob' where I'd try #close within a minute,then later wonder why the girl wont text bacc nor answer her phone.

Now,your best bet is to try calling her and pray that she answers;she probably wont since she isnt that attracted.

Push come to shove,I wouldnt even call nor text anymore.

I'd go bacc to the same sandwhich spot and build some damn attraction.

Banter with her,be playful with her.

Then call or text her again and she'd be sure to participate.

i know man...that's what i was afraid of. it crossed my mind almost immediately. i'll give her the call, and tell her the i wanted to give her my critique of the sandwhiches. they were okay. but next time sprinkle it with a extra dash of LOVE. lol. that's if she answers. thanks for the input, even though it was the answer i was afraid of.

PS: the shop is an hour and a half away, so logistically a little difficult. was hoping to use this distance as an advantage though. i don't mind being someone's guilty pleasure :)

But you're on target with calling her about your critique of the sandwhich.

That's exactly what you should do if she answers;it her with some call-back humor mixed with the sandwhich critique.

Maybe, actually flirt with her? Do something like that,
You:"Ok, let's get to know eachother I have two minutes(Look at the watch and count),I am a succesful comedian, just broke my ex girlfriend a week ago, bla bla make something up, and my name is Stix"Say your name at the end because its mostly for comfortable stage, but it's necessary.
She:"I'm a bitch bla bla bla bla I suck and my name is suckurdick"
You after 1:40 minutes:"Ok I have twelve seconds left, "(slide your phone over and HB types in her number)
