Ok So i got a horrible approach anxiety, so my more experienced Wing and I played a Opener Game, Approach any sets in the streets any line you want (street game) i was shiting my self my first proper approach, So we ended up opening 20 Sets withing 30 min, trafalgar square just got opend Hardcore LoL. oK SO anyway my problem is AFTER the openor, Example i get the answer and then im like thank you and leave Lol, I dunno how to aproach proper! Help guys! what threads are there |

You gotta have a game plan. Don't just go up and ask them any old random question, ask them a question that could lead into a deeper level of interaction. "Hey, don't you think bush blew up the world trade centers?" "No it was some fools in the caves..." "Na, you ain't heard they cashed in on a 7 billion dollar insurance plan?" "Fo shizzle?" "word" "thats (censored) up" "ya and the worse part is..." |

something i use all the time RIGHT after the opener and u get ur HB to giggle and chuckle allow a very slight awkward pause (not too long, maybe 1.5-3 sec) i lean in tilt my head in slightly and say "you know...that's your CUE to introduce yourself" say it with a slight playful roll of ur eyes. as if she missed an obvious social step that EVERYBODY knows ur supposed to do at this point. throw in a neg if u want. "geez, i came here to have fun tonight. didn't think i'd end up giving lessons in social skills" u can use it in other parts of ur game if u stall. "that's ur cue to tell me something interesting about urself. what do u have going for u other than ur looks?" (love that mystery line!) PS: there it is FOLKS! my very first post. i 3-seconded this thread and just went for it! |

Man Just use an opener that gives them the opportunity to talk and then let the conversation flow or notice something about them or use the best friend test ... The possibilities are endless.. for more info notice how stand up comedians go from a subject to another and watch mystery's video about multiple-thread theory |

yea, but the point is it sometimes takes ppl a little longer to discover that natural part of their game. the reason why canned openers are good is to help people get past the early stages including AA. which it sounds like where he's at. the natural fluff comes with when someone becomes comfortable with themselves.Just use an opener that gives them the opportunity to talk and then let the conversation flow or notice something about them or use the best friend test ... The possibilities are endless.. for more info notice how stand up comedians go from a subject to another and watch mystery's video about multiple-thread theory so use the routines, and tricks as u please. eventually, u'll be comfortable enough to think on ur feet for most of the convo, and a few routines when its appropriate in the conversation. thats when it gets fun. |
