I came up with it btw  PUA: Excuse me, get I get your opinion on something HB: Sure PUA: I was thinking about getting an ear piercing and I need your opinion on guys with piercings? Is it cool or stupid? HB: blah blah blah PUA: Do you know which side is the straight side and which one is the gay one? HB: blah blah bla PUA: Wat if I get 2 ear piercing one on each side. does that mean im bi? HB: blah blah blah What do you guys think. I tried it twice and it worked well |

This sounds like it could really work. You could maybe ask different opinions too like would I look better with diamond or hoop earrings? |

I think that opinion openers are for early game. I would stray away from them as soon as you can. Really in my opinion the best way to open a girl is either via direct approaches or cocky funny. Oh and boy do I love neg openers. See I have very nice hair and it attracts attention. I get atleast a couple compliments from girls a day. If the girl is a HB Blonde 9 or 10 Im negging in response. HB: I LOVE your hair. Me: *In a humorous tone* Your hair is okay too.. I guess. Blonde is so 90's though. And then shes opened. Roll into something else. Talk to her about what color hair she would look better in. Just a little advice. |

Nice one, openers that are opinion based and or have humour are great, brings down a girls barrier a bit. |

Yeah I guess opininion openers do work. Maybe it's because I've been into the PUA community for too long that they just sound boring to me now. I have heard too many of my PUA friends use them. Yes, they are usually successful in getting a girl to talk to them, but once you have heard it too often (some of the girls you try and pick up might have heard this before - pretty common!) it's boring as.Just my opinion! |

Opinion openers do get boring, but it's a good start to creating your own canned material and not copying every PUA out there, because you can get an opinion on near enough everything. The opinion opener I use now and then works wonders, because it makes me seem friendly, confident and I'll speak to anyone. Other good things to open sets with are simple stuff like "You enjoying your night?" Then stacking quickly onto something else. |
