I'm trying to follow Gunwitch's advice of standing by a magazine rack and waiting for a lone girl to come up, that way the approach is 50/50. It's not you searching a girl out and approaching cold, but making it a more natural scenario. problem is, there haven't been any girls coming by the magazine and book section when I've been there. I'm looking socially acceptable and masculine, so I seriously doubt it's because of me specifically, I guess it's the location in that certain store (I live by it, so it's convenient, and I do see hot girls there). How do I do grocery store/supermarket pick-up without having to buy anything? I'm going to start doing direct approaches, or at least standing in other aisles and waiting in those, but how do I get away with that without being asked to leave? It's not like I need to go grocery shopping every single day. |

You're going for a more natural approach scenario? Are you kidding?!? I'm a newbie, but what you are doing seems weird at best and at worst you look a bit like a stalker. How about just approach when you see an opportunity while you are out shopping for real? If that doesn't tweak your interest, try this.... Several years ago, my friends took me out one night and got me smashed. Got the munchies on the way home to our afterparty, and decided to stop by a 24/7 grocery for some chips and what-not. Saw this cool-looking dame shopping the mostly empty store, so while I was juiced up on liquid-courage, I tried something: Had my friends finish shopping on their own, went straight to the greeting card aisle. Got a birthday card and immediately bought it. Wrote in it, "Happy birthday whoever you are, whenever your birthday is. Let's celebrate it together sometime," and included my name and phone number. Waited outside the door a few minutes for her to come out, handed her the card and said, "This is for you. Have a good night!" and left. It was the craziest thing I've ever done for a date, and would not have done it except for the high-quality booze I was drinking that night. Although I didn't get a LTR out of it, she did call me up a few days later for 3 successive dates. |

That's what I'm saying, dude. I don't want to walk around a grocery store not buying anything, when I'm there to pick up girls. The problem is, I don't need to buy crap every single day, which is how often I'd like to practice pick up. If I waited everytime I really needed something, I'd be waiting a few days between every outing.

Dude, if you're gonna spend time in a grocery store you have to buy SOMETHING, otherwise you seem incredibly weird, not to mention the staff will start talking about "that guy" which people can then overhear and you'll be that much worse off. It's almost impossible to just "hang out" at a grocery store naturally, at least in my opinion. I got a number in a grocery store one time, I didn't go there specifically to game, but when I noticed a fairly cute girl shopping by herself I just went over and asked her to help me pick out cat food (explaining that my friend had to leave the country for awhile and asked me to look after her cat, but I don't know much about cats blah blah etc.) you might want to try something similar to that. |

You guys are acting like I was arguing that it wouldn't be at all weird. I was trying to think of a way around it if there was one. Thanks for your thoughts I quoted, that's all I wanted, good day. |

I was in the grocery store today and I was looking for gel for my hair. A lot more girls seem to be in this aisle than any other. Anyway, I opened up with "I need your opinion on something.." and asked about what shampoo I needed, or if they liked gelled or natural hair, anything hair related. While you obviously can't go to the shampoo aisle everyday you could do something like that. |

Why are you so focused on the grocery store? If you are following Gunwitch go to the park, sit on the bench, smoke or read something, until some cute girl walks by and go talk to her??? |

Because you clearly said: Quote: How do I do grocery store/supermarket pick-up without having to buy anything? like wtf lmao, so I'm suggesting you to try the same method in other places, like in the park... But if you wanna be the weird guy stalking the grocery aisles, sure go head lolQuote: Where the fuck did you get the impression I was? I asked a question about it, that's it.

Where did I say or imply I would stalk grocery aisles? It's clear I wanted to avoid even trying that. Quote: Wow calm down there buddy, forgot to take your chill out pills?, that's cool

Cereal Aisle is good because you can talk about all the crazy characters on the cereal boxes. Try bookstores too. |
