Come on you are trying to buy her attention. That is needy and shows that you dont have choices. Plus where do you go from that. What if she takes your snickers? Then what? How do you transition, how do you start a conversation?

"Hey I just noticed that you stole my snickers?"

No that isnt very good.

It is just one step better than going up to her with a red rose. It is not gonna work, as you clearly saw when you tried it out.

I have to give you cred for having the courage to try it though! This is how we grow!

First of all, i hope you all understand my english, cause it isn´t my 1st language. So, i want you to give me your opinion on this opening: I´m walking on the street, with a Snickers bar in my hand, i see a pretty girl walking in my direction. I point the snickers to her, and wait for her to accept it or not. I did this 3 times: On the first time the girl just said "no" and walked away On the second time, this time the girl seemed to be a little too young(probably 16 or 17. I´m 23.), and just passed by me totally ignoring me. On the third time, the girl stopped and said, with a very nice smile: "No, thanks", and walked away. Then i yelled: If it was a twix you wouldn´t said no. She looked at me and smiled. So, any thoughts on this?

I did this because i wanted to start feeling confortable establishing contact with strange women. In my small city women are not very used to be approached by strangers; they´re not very receptive to those kind of things. If someone walks to her and starts saying: "hey...can i ask you something...bla, bla, bla", they will immediately think the guy will ask her for money, cigaretts, or try sell something, because that´s the only time women here are approached by strangers during the day. So, by pointing a snickers bar to them, i´m automatically sending the message that i dont´t want nothing that she might think that i want in the first place, so there´s no need for adopting the standard defense posture they´re are used to. Tomorrow i´ll try some new stuff.

haha thats hilarious. i love it. i would pay money to see someone do that. or even better yet, im gonna do that 50 times tomorrow. . even if you dont get any bites, at least youll be entertaining youreself massively while doing it. thats great. . have someone videotape you doing that a lot of times, and i will buy the tape from you. im serious. tape youreself doing it at least 30 times, i will buy a copy of it instantly..
