Hahaha. For some it could work beautifully, for others a complete disaster. It really is all about confidence and the right frame. But of course, I think some openers would work better than this for most people. Hi, how are you? is common and usually creates the image int he woman's head "he's just like them other chumps" |

David D had a guy use that Joey quote as an example in his talk, I think you are remembering that video  Well guys, if "Hi how you going" doesn't work for you, then you know you can always use more inner game work. Use it as a testing bed. It's not some unnatainable awesome level - when you can do it, it simply means you have no stupid barriers in the way. |

You mention "Inner Game". I keep thinking "Inner game = Working on YOURSELF".Truth be told, never seen it. I guess I can elaborate a bit. Say "Hi, how are you"... ...in your own confident, suave way. LOL.. works when your a good looking guy.. can't really build attraction but assumes it already exists.. if you can follow up with it like its a normal convo with someone you know it can really go somewhere.... I once used this opener followed by a time constrainted convo, and the girl had this huh? look on her face... and then about fifteen minutes later she was walking around the club with her eyes glued to me she was walking around.. so it can go somewhere.. just make sure your not obese or sloppy looking when you do it cuz then you'll be setting yoruself up for some awful rejection.. |

No kidding. That Joey character is cool.Wow, I've definitely came into this PUA stuff from a different angle. "Hi, How are you", in my view, is all centered around being yourself. That's the key I believe. Anything you do, do it according to who YOU are, AS LONG AS IT WORKS. If not, modify. Quote: Totally! The reason why we put so much thought into "openers" is due to most of our nervousness of the open itself. Although it's really not THAT important, there are better openers than others. "How are you" is far from being a great opener but it's far from being a bad one. . . it's completely neutral. You don't get all skittish about it because hell, who doesn't say, "How are you"? And the girl doesn't get all skittish about it because she's heard this from the old lady on the street, the kid at Starbucks, the old fart at the park, etc . . . (and this is why it's NOT a great opener) The point of the opener in terms of pu isn't to just initiate conversation. . . the point is to lunge the conversation into fun/sexy/flirtatious topics. |

I disagree..That's it! Monumental, no? The best opener in the world could for example be "Hi, I'm Justin Timberlake", but for that to work you would have to be Justin Timberlake. (just chose a random celebrity that i know have dated a couple of hotties). An even better one could be "Hi, i'm Jesus"(If you actually were Jesus). If being the son of god and having the ability to turn water in to wine doesn't get you laid, nothing will! |

The very best opener in the world is to go up, smile while doing it. Radiate confidence, feel natural. And say... Say... 'insert comment here' that should do it. |
