Besides bantering around with your friends, (sometimes your friends aren't around), what else can I do to get in state, because I'm still a bit stiff? |

a great ding to do is something i always do. step 1. write down 3 moments when you were in state. step 2. now close your eyes and try to go back to this moment. Step 3. while you doing this. do something unusual with your body. pull your ear or something. now next time you pull your ear you will be remember thifeeling and feel it again. kind of a on off botton to get in state |

Anthony Robins: "Emotion is Motion." So, Jump up and down, yell "Wooooooooooooooooooo," clap your hands, dance, w/e. You'll feel better then just standing there and NOT DOING SHIT. Quote: At debrief, Tyler has me do a couple more sets in the restaurant. They all go surprisingly well. I even got the number of a black girl who simply offered it up to me.

I don't remember too much about this debrief mostly because we kept it a bit short. There was a set that merged with us to eat that JH opened as they came and Tyler didn't want to be spouting game theory in front of them. However, it essentially boiled down to Tyler reinterating what he said earlier in the night. He asks me again, "Can you imagine yourself opening all those sets right now? Of course right?" He was right. I felt like I could do it with little or no problem. He goes on to explain that he doesn't even view AA as anxiety but more like approach laziness. It's simply a lack in momentum. You just have to take action and build it. |
