It's simple, but harsh. You have to quit hanging around with them, if you want any chance with these girls. And for you to be hanging around with AFC people, clearly they aint in the popular group and of course neither are you if your with them alot. Was in a similiar situation to you. Best adivce i can give. |

Why are you trying to leverage your friends to hook up with chicks in the first place? Your friends might be AFC's but judging by what you wrote, so are you. At 17 . . . just about everybody you know are AFC's. Relax and work on your own game. Stop blaming your friends. |

You are still in highschool, if you are going to focus on anything that this forum has to offer, check out the inner game section. Who gives a sh!t about your appearance, you really should be worried about how you feel about urself, which brings me to my next 2. In my highschool, the most popular kids were die hard nerds. What they had going for them tho was confidence and over all, not caring what other felt about them. 3. You will find that if you try and lose your friends to hang with the cool kids, you will not only never fit in with that crowd (you will be viewed as a try hard) and making it so that you will have no friends at all. So bro, quite fkin worrying |

Young people, read this carefully. What do you think are the differences between "popular" people and "unpopular" people? Other than the fact that they tend to hang out with each other, what are the differences? There are far more real and tangible characteristics involved in social dynamics than your association with others alone. Your proximity with others in its own will do NOTHING for you. In fact, the act of actually dumping current friends for new friends is in fact an UNPOPULAR act. This act alone is setting you in the wrong direction. If you've hung out here enough, then you will have seen plenty of posts made by flakey wanna-be pua's proclaiming the "pivot" and "entourage" games. They basically strive to make new contacts and friends based their existing friends. However, unless the initial friendships are based on something REAL, their entire social network is nothing but a ponzi scheme. They'll have to continue to rotate "friends" because beyond the association, there is nothing there. New contacts will be around them just long enough to figure out the charade and by that time, the fakers would have already leveraged this group to find other friends. And like any good ponzi scheme, there comes a time when this fake act comes to an implosion. Learn what it means to be popular amongst your group first. These tangible social skill-sets will last you a life time. Simply dumping your current friends to attempt to find more popular friends will turn you into the tag-along of the next group and eventually, the next group after that. Gain the trust of your friends. Learn pick-up. Use your new knowledge to better yourself AND THE GROUP. The "popular" people will become ATTRACTED TO YOU and so will the girls from ALL GROUPS. Give this some thought . . . and if you feel like what I wrote above makes sense, let me know. If you want to try this out, we can go through some real major differences between "popular" and "unpopular" and work on these points one by one. |

kasabi i completely agree with that post. rather than ditchin your friends for ppl you MAY become friends with isnt worth it... as soon as i found out about this society i told my friends i hang out with about it. its not about making fake relationships with ppl just so you can look good. you have more confidence around ppl your use to anyways. use it to your advantage. |

Strange, I think you're all forgetting the basic point. Koolkid, don't dump your friends. Even if they are afc. The whole point of social proof is to have as many friends as possible, so stick with your current friends as your close buddies, and make friends with other people by either meeting friends of your friends, or simply gaming more of them. The social status of your friends is completely irrelevant. Only take thier social status into consideration when you're inviting over to a party of a girl you wanna game or to a club you want to impress people at. After all koolkid, it's actually very dhv to make a lot of friends, right? Isn't that common sense? |

Burning Scarlet's got it right. The only reason you would ever dump your friends as a dhv spike is if you are trying to take on the role as a "The Jerk, Complete Prick, Tool, so on..." and trust me, unless you are willing to dive head first into that role and make it who you are, never give up friendships. Besides, popular "good guys" (the guy on campus that everyone knows and wants to hang out with) not only get tail, but they also tend to get tail with higher standards, higher selfesteem, and lower std count.

I am in highschool like you, except in australia, so it may be a little different. basically what i do is i have stronger friends outside of my school who i can PU with, and friends in school that just keep me occupied at school. although, this may be because of there being no real game in my school (they are mostly 3-7), If you have afc friends, and a girl walks by, just display characteristics of an amog (enjoy urself, have good posture, yet laid back, smile etc.). you friends arn't a dlv, unless you are library junkies. also, you have to stop worrying about this shit man, your still in highschool. its so fucking easy to pickup, just go to an under 18s disco, start grinding with a random girl and hookup. simple as that, aint no game to it. ofcourse peacocking and amoging helps but chicks at our age are drawn to guys with confidence. going for girlfriends is another game entirely. try and somehow open a convo with her, find her facebook or msn. have a msn convo where you dhv yourself, then just game her in person. PS keep negs as a playful thing, cause girls arnt used to being hit on that much. so pretty much, if your looking for a random hookup, go to a disco with your friends, and ditch them, unless they are dicks, they will leave you alone if your going for a girlfriend, your friends arnt a dlv, so dont overthink it, just stay as the alpha male. |
