Maybe instead

"if two hot people are in the same room they have to talk to each other *pause* "didn't you know?" *playfully pokes tounge out* (Shows that you are sexual, confident, fun and playful and that you are considered her equal).
Don't forget the whole point of going direct is to skip to the more sexual stages, if your not doing that then theres no point in going direct.

Also you could try using a double sided compliment to get her thinking instead.

Okay so a double sided compliment would still be indefinatly a compliment but your saying to her.. I approve.. but i know you could do better!

As an example, your talking to some brunette.. As before we'll use "hey, your hot" but then add somthing like "but have you ever thought about going blonde? It would really bring out your eyes, it would make you look much more attractive."

Or if she has pale skin you can tell her she would look stunning.. but only if she wore red because it would make the sexiest contrast with her fair skin.

A double sided compliment lets her know although she is hot.. There's still room to improve! Every girl wants to feel sexy this is why they dress up! THEY DO IT FOR YOU.. TO APPROVE.. OF THEM!

And when you stand out from the rest of the guys who just kiss her ass and you use a double sided compliment instead, trust me if she likes you.. Yes guys, she will go out of her way to go blonde just for you.. or wear red or whatever! Why? Because if you matter to her.. Then she will do ANYTHING to get your approval, simple!

By doing this you look confident and it shows that you know what you want in a girl and your not afraid to say it.. your a guy who doesn't just settle for anything. Not many guys have the balls to tell a girl what she could do better to improve herself!

But remeber guys.. You need not worry so much about openers, what's 100 times more important is the follow up question you have that makes her invest in conversation!

this is a direct opener it goes like this... "your hot, you should talk to me" now before you start typing "NEVER COMPLIMENT HER LOOKS" i know the rule. but i have enough confidence and game to belittle her by negging her later. my only question is this. if she says "why should i talk to you" what should i respond with? obviously she's holding up a "hoop" for me to jump through how can i turn this around. or what would you respond with?

Agreed, once you've told her she's hot all your cards are on the table. She can blow you down with a snap of her fingers. Maybe a better line would be, "You're starting at 7, and if the next words to come out of your mouth are nice, you might move up to an 8."
