Hello Everyone! Now normally, i handle things just great with women... or with people in general. Everything was going fine... Until i met this girl. I feel really stupid when i'm around her. All the openers, negs, and routines just go out the window the second i stare into her eyes. Heck, i can't even talk straight. I have this overwhelming urge to run away (yes, like a wuss) when she's close to me. Oh, and she's an HB10. More often than not, i quickly find myself walking away from her. I can't even get a decent conversation going, since honestly, all words just go out the window. I'm pretty freaked out here. I think if she's noticed how weird i've been acting, she'd be freaked out too. Can you guys help me out here? |

Start working with HB5-9s to build up your confidence and once you have mastered those, HB10s are easy. Actually I think HB10s are a lot easier to approach than HB8-9, because HB10s are rarely hit on all the time because they seem so intemmidating, but they want to. Whereas HB8-9 get hit on all the time and they put up with the least amount of crap, making your game harder. Keep one objective in mind and go for it. Whatever it is, do it. Once you get that objective behind you, all the other ones will come into place when you feel more comfortable around her. Best, J-Dub |

I know there's another board for stories but I've been in a similar boat. To this day I hang my head at the memory of meeting this one girl, I literally went speechless and when i could think of things to say it was all so random and stupid. I agree with J-Dub though, the easiest way is probably working yr way up! My answer was confidence through drinks but this was a few years back! |

I know what you mean man.The heart has no master .And this sound's like a crush. That happened to me a several month's ago.I talked to the final girl that pushed me towards learning the game on the phone and much to my surprise I could not control myself . I was happy and crazy nervous at the same time.As much as I tried, nervousness stayed in my voice and I was talking so fast the people around me were shocked.I had'nt even seen her in month's. Man I hate crushes. But I do agree with everyone else, if you practice hard enough you can over come this. |

Any ideas how to get over this quickly? It feels so awkward. I know i could go out and practice but that does take quite a bit of time. I'm planning to do that tonight though... But are there any other ways aside from a thursday night sarge? |

There's no real quick fix for that sadly, if its dominating you that much you should distance yourself from her for a short while and try and push her from your mind while you practice. Take it from me if you go in unprepared with someone you like that much prepare to get burned! You need to control your feelings or you'll never control the relationship or the situation, which led in my case to a very short unfullfilling few weeks of dating! So something you don't want to hear but probably should, chin up! Grin and bear it and practice! -Cupid |

I think you get that feeling, because it's a crush, pure and simple, in your mind she's that one girl for you (one-itis), so next time try to find flaws in her and realise that she's just a human being like the rest of us. |
