Opening isolated targets who are isolated already should by theory be different from opening groups, correct? Firstly, there is no one who you can focus on beside the target to make them feel ignored. Also when meeting an already isolated target the time constraint should be very important. You'd have to do an opener or stack a few, i personally like to stack at least 2. After which i would ask "So what're you doing all alone" to get a little bit more comfort. Following that i would say "i want to show you something" *add a little magic trick with some humor* "you know what, i can predict your personality" *do the cube* More DHV routines then ask her if she would like to get a drink or something where you would be seated, if you were standing. If she says no she has to go and do something. Do number/email close. If she says yes. Say actually i can't. I have to go back to my friends. But is there any measure we could take to continue this conversation? Thoughts please! |

Well...what's wrong with going somewhere to drink with her? That seems like the better choice over just saying, "Woops, can't, sorry, but I do take phone numbers..." And stacking material in your head is good, work on getting to the point where you don't need to stack material though. |

[/quote] I guess that's true but when you sit down and have a drink with her, you'll need to start fluffing and she may lose the interest if you're not able to keep an interesting conversation up!. But that's just my thoughts |

Is keeping a conversation up really that hard? If you're boring now, you'll still be boring in a week when you set something up...Relax, always have something to show people, and get her to talk too. |
