We've got plenty of openers and ideas for initiating but I'm curious what kind of sets you all like to open. Mixed sets, small groups, big groups, dancers, sitters, standers, etc.? What seems to be the most successful for you?

Im more of a dancefloor set opener myself. Reason being that dancing is one of my key attributes. I never showoff before entering a set but doing simple yet interesting moves captivates attention and all eyes are on me then i make my move to more then a 3 group set and the rest in easy from there.

1 sets and 2 sets are def. my fav. Huge mixed sets scare the shit out of me to be honest with you.

Regardless of being on the dancefloor or not, I usually go for 2, 3 or 4 sets who aren't moving. I rarely approach when there's more than 1 guy in the group.

That's interesting because that is where I tend to open a lot of my sets as well. Same kind of thing. Although its harder to converse, I like the fact that they are forced to lean in to listen to you and talk to you. Escalates the kino with hardly any effort.

Besides having a good set of dancing skills, I like going in and opening the set by throwing out a quick neg about their dancing and "give them lessons" or something.

Gotta say, I have opened very few mixed sets myself.

I prefer approaching just one girl (or a two set if I feel confident enough at that particular moment).

Haha, yes. We'd probably make a damn good team to work the dancefloor. It's always fun to have all the girls getting ground on by AFCs to be watching you the whole time opening sets and having fun.

I dont do any dancefloor game.. if Im not hammerd.
My place is around the bar.
Once I ran a 5-set of girls and talked to them for 15 minutes. :)
I managed to get everyone involved in the convo as I lead them..
Its hard to open over 5 people though.. Way easier to open 2 of 5, then get an introduction to the rest of the set.

My dream is to open a womens soccer team..

I actually preffer bigger groups. (4+ sets)
Its a lot easier to isolate the target and its more people to talk to while you ignore and neg the target and if you're getting along with 3 of her friends and you're not speaking to her at all she will want to know you for sure.
Girls or guys doesnt matter to me, but usually if one of the guys is her bf i give up cause i never (have a) wing (all people i know are AFC)

I also enjoy 2 sets but since one of them will be alone at a point the target gets called away by the girlfriend shes with.
And i dont engage 2 sets of 1 HB 1 guy.

Going into a HB solo i only do at day cause in a club or bar whatever she will be most on her guard while at daytime she least expects it. and coming from under the radar is awesome.

I should learn to dance a bit better so i could do dancefloor openers but SPAM im just bad at that so dont do those kind of things

What kind of question is this ????

Any Set which has Girls in it !! I dont care whether there are 10-15 girls or girls with guys, dancing or standing still. If there are girls in a set I'll approach & open in a heart beat. - I'm suprised by this question because i thought that is the case with every guy in here, isnt it ??

The louder the venue the less ppl I prefer.. its too difficult trying to work on 3+ sets when its loud.. having to repeat yourself so many times.

I just started sarging this weekend for the very first time and the sets I've been opening are 2-3 girls.

But I will tell ya it still feels wrong opening a chick who was chatting with a guy 1v1.. Its awesome when just getting her attention gets him to turn around and leave.. I must control the feeling of wrong...
