Gaming by yourself or flying solo is one of the hardest things anyone can do. When I first started I had a few "wings" that helped me out as well. Over time they dropped off and I went out alone for about 6-8 months before I had another wing. The key here is working on your inner game to be more confident out there by yourself. The other key point is to talk to everyone. Since you are alone go out and be the social guy that talks to everyone. Build a group of friend out of the people in the venue that evening. Just chit chat with them be high energy and people will start to gravitate towards you.
