I was out at a restaurant last night with buddy. He works there but had the night off. We were just hanging out at the bar drinking. There is a beautiful waitress who works there. So near closing I notice her. Ask my buddy about her, and he says she is a cool chick. I introduce myself, and start small talk. Very little because she is busy and they are closing. So the bartender shuts us down and I have to leave. I tell her bye before leaving but didn't get any farther. What is my next move? Go back tonight and try to get her attention while she works? I don't wanna seem like I am hovering. Help me out here guys. And I don't really feel like we got to actually have a good talk. So I am thinking I will need to open again. Thanks. |

Hitting on waitresses is usually tough for many reasons. You rarely have their full attention, you generally only get short periods of time for conversation, guys already hit on them constantly, and mostly importantly, she is working for tips, so being flirty is basically in her job description. That being said, this is mediocre advice for hitting on a waitress: http://www.sean-johnson.com/2007/05/04/ ... -waitress/ As far as your specific waitress, don't presume that she will remember you. A waitress/bartender will talk to many people in one night, and will forget most of them. I think your best bet is to have your buddy (that knows her) get her to go out to a bar (or anywhere else you can be social) with some mutual friends. That way, you can proceed with your usual game without the pressures of hitting on a bartender/waitress. |
