| Post subject: | got called on my flirting, need comeback |
Hey guys, at work I was flirting with a female colleague of mine (hb 8 btw), using some C&F stuff, it went really smooth, when another colleague pointed it out something like "what did I get into here, some marital strife?!". This caused a little silence, I didn´t have a response and so I didn´t acknowledge his comment, but it did hurt the further interaction with the hb. Any suggestions on how to handle that kind of situation? p.s. my first post, after lot of reading in the forum, so hi everyone |

Quote: Hey guys,
The main issue here is congruency. If you're in a C&F "mood", then don't lose your frame when your other colleague steps in. On the other hand, are you always using C&F lines in your workplace, or just with the HB8?at work I was flirting with a female colleague of mine (hb 8 btw), using some C&F stuff, it went really smooth, when another colleague pointed it out something like "what did I get into here, some marital strife?!". Just be unreactive to him... Indy09: bla bla bla hb8: hahaha, bla bla bla Indy09: yadda yadda hb8: yadda bla bla yadda co-worker: what did i get into here, some marital strife? Indy09: (turn to him quickly) "yep." ---say it in a tone like you're not paying attention to them. Indy09: (turn back to hb) yadda yadda bla bla If you act like the conversation or flirting with the girl is no big deal to you, then it won't seem like a big deal to her. The quick answer will blow the co-worker out of the conversation also. Hope it helps. |

Keeping the frame and beeing unreactive sounds good and plausible, and yes I´m almost all the time in C&F mood, especially at work, since there are lots and lots of hbs C&F gets different reactions from the hbs though, some just won´t bite, what do you say should I keep it up? I wonder if they perceive it as me hitting on them. |

Dude, he totally set it up for you... I would have played it like, "Yeah, you know, the usual married couple stuff. The big issue is that she wants sex like 3 times a day, but I'm busy, I've got stuff going on and I think she's asking a little too much." LOL Then I would have pulled her close to me, looked her right in the eyes and been like "Now...you are still my wife and I love you....(pushing her away from me)...now go make me dinner." LOL. -WorkEthic |

LOL. -WorkEthic That first part would be really nice but intense kino like that would take some real balls and some serious IOI's from her. I love the neg, very nice placement. Assumptive framing, role playing, and a nice little DHV (none-neediness) put to great use there. |
