Hey Guys i'm Nick, I just had a question when approaching a girl is it ok to tell her your name right away? Like this- Hey i'm Nick, i just wanted a quick opinion on something. I've done this many times and it's worked well for me. I just wasn't sure. thanks. |

I always do, I've heard guys who play a game where they won't introduce themselves, most girls think this is childish.I want the girl to remember me so I introduce myself early on in a way that she will remember, it works great for me! |

Throwing your name around is good, especially if you introduce yourself in a memorable way, like compare it to some celebrity with the same name, and they will remember it forever, so next time you see them you will be the guy that they remember. |

that's awesome man. So do you usually just tell your name first, and than go on? That's what i usually do. What about you?I want the girl to remember me so I introduce myself early on in a way that she will remember, it works great for me! this is really interesting because i read somewhere that it's best to wait for her to ask but i sometimes think i'm being rude when i don't introduce myself. i'll try out introducing myself at the beginning and see how that works! Regards Lucky |

I believe it was Mystery who said this in persuit of IOIs, that if she asks for your name that's an IOI. But seriously, most people you talk to for a while will ask for your name so I don't think it's a big deal.Regards Lucky And Rock19900, whatever works for you man, people sometimes ask me what opener I use, well it goes like this. *Search for eye contact* and say: So Wzup? I open pretty much all my sets and single(as in alone) girls like that, night game or day game, pick up doesn't have to be complicated. |

oh ok i know what you mean. All i wanted to make sure was- that is it ok to start a convo with your name? Because Like you said it's in the Mystery method that it's an IOI, but there is alot of other IOI"S a girl can give you also. Like touching her hair, smiling, asking you how your day was, I just always felt that telling your name right away was the Polite thing to do. Do you guys agree with me? |

No one cares what your name is when they first meet you, and why would you care what hers is. It doesn't matter at all; it adds no value. If its a random encounter, I wait until there is some kind of connection before telling em my name. But I would only introduce myself if I was really time constrained and had to leave, otherwise wait 4 her 2 either introduce herself or ask me, which is an ioi. I would feel really lame asking someone b4 they tell me who they are. I think its BEST to not give your name if your approach only lasted a few minutes and didn't develop attraction or comfort. Because if I see some of those girls again, which might happen, it reopens a mystery and we can pick it up where we left off, I never really finalized the first time I met her. You're also going to remember name exchanges more if you connected with each other. |

Also, introducing her to your FULL name is much better than just "hey my name is Dan... Just Dan, though, I have no last name" I mean, you're a person, of value, perhaps? There are millions of Dans, maybe only one Dan Smalldik Longston |
