I wanna write my own... & I'm good at writing, especially shit like this. So what exactly makes an opener good? I'll write a few & test'em then share'em if they work. |

I can be many things. Baiscally it has to DHV. It has to be congruent with you. There are a lot of ways to DHV. You can be balsy/confident, you can be funny, you can show that you are social/preselected etc... I think it's more a question of what it shoudn't be. It shoudn't make you sound needy/intimidated and it shoudn't DLV. The rest is not much important. Openers are just good for that, opening. as long as it doesn't create a negative impression you should be good to at least get out there are tweek it to your liking. |

I wouldn't worry too much about the opener. The opener itself could be anything. I see one where a guy pretended to trip as an opener. The major factor to opening is fear. You need to learn to get over AA (if you have it). The only thing an opener does is opens a dialog between you and another person. |

Yeah lol, I kinda figured as much. I actually opened a chick up not 5 minutes ago by the pool & I DID NOT need prewritten material. But I still might write a few... I kinda digg the witty opener thing, I'm just tryin to find the boundaries. |

i find a good opener does more than just opens the set. a good opener shortens the amount of time needed to create that "comfort zone" or where the girl is like "oh wow this guys unique and cool!". most of the times when i use Master PUA openers theres this INSTANT connection. like shes on you in a matter of minutes. when i just open casually, it takes more to get her from "umm... hai?" to "oh plz! stay and talk" my 2 cents. |

I've noticed that openers don't really need to be rehearsed or canned but when they are spontaneous they feel natural and have a tendency to be conversation starters on their own. Basically what I'm trying to get to is: stop thinking, observe, and comment on what you see, ask a simple question to start a conversation. Ever talk to a good friend you haven't seen in years? how all of a sudden the two of you are talking just like old times; same thing, just be comfortable with who you are in the situation. And don't forget to lead the conversation. |
