Post subject:  Approaching guys - Building socialproof
I just read a post called "The approach opener".

Its a bit of a newbie opener were the subject is
"How do guys usually hit on you?"

I dont really use it, even though I some times use it as background for a story.
Anyway.

I've been doing a lot of thinking about how to create socialproof and getting along with other guys in sets with HB:s. And it hit me what a great idea this is.

Simply use this as an opinion opener for guys.
Say its your first time at the club, bar etc.
What usually works?
What are girls looking for?
Whats the craziest pick-up any of the guys has done?
Then some DHV. Maybe neg the guy who seems to be the strongest individual.

See where Im goin with this?

Many times my game turns to shit when Im in a fieldsituation where there arnt many targets, but loads of guys.

Why not make some new buddies and bounce to another club,
arriving with some astablished socialproof and some natural "leader of men" energy surronding you.

I'll most definetly try to win a big set of guys over and take them to a cooler place and go with my game from there - instead of sitting around bitter at some sausageparty.

I can kinda see were he is going with this and there is no need to be rude. Some clubs and bars you go into are so full of sausage its unreal so building up a social circle can only be a good thing.

However, if the club is poo then just go somewhere else, you don't have to raise an army of guys to go with you. It doesn't really DHV walking into a club with a load of dicks as thats what the majority of guys do, and no one would really be looking at the door anyway.

i agree with catalyst here dont need to call the person gay for trying out a new tactic. His idea is known as "Networking" not really picking up the guys but making a networking of new friends. Can open other doors and prospect to meet other HB in the process

Vertozia and Workaholic if you morons can see pass this then there no need for you guys to post anything. Sounding like the typical AFC guys out there.

I see how this approach works and it is smart!

I just disagreed with this approach, it is one of those clever ideas on the forum where half of the member will think this is great, when the others will disgregard it.

I give him full marks for be confident and trying something new that I admire. Everyone has there unique things that work for them, I mean we have people that wear perfume on the forum, wear top hats, dress like Mystery.

There is no wrong or right answer to be successful with women.

But seriously...
Is the leader of men thing overrated?
Cause to me it seems pretty golden.

If you got a group of people around you that looks up to you,
approving everything you do, laughing at your jooks etc.
People will see this and you're socially preselected.

And by the way: (Excuse my gay question...)
Havent any one of you had a guy in set that says - after you just blow them aways with a cool story - something like:
"Dude, your the coolest guy ever. We should go to this party next week..
loads of chicks. Its gonna kick ass!"
Are thoose guys gay?

well it wouldnt be the perfect choice to show the "leader of men" role but its a good way to make new friend and Network.To bounce a bunch of guys you just met from one venue to another is harder then trying to bounce a group of girls. Its not over-rated but part of the game. You gotta remember there is many factors in the Game and it incorperates alot of things.

So are you saying girls are much easier to lead then women?

My only experience with this is when I approach 3 sets (2 girls, 1 guy).
Giving the guy initially more focus before the hook point, showing lack of interest, throw negs etc. After befriending him it always pretty easy go from there.

That three set I always find being the most ideal to disarm the guy for the reason that I have been in that situation as the guy and following your two girl mates around some nights is very uninteresting and meeting someone that doesn't want to talk about girly topics etc is more interesting.
