Post subject:  How do you approach a Bartender?
Hi guys, this is my first post so here goes! Put simply, there's a stunning girl that works at my local bar and I'm looking to approach. Difficult thing is, I've got no idea how is the best way to do it as usually I'd just say 'you're hot, can I have your number' which obviously never works! Any tips/rules on approaching the hot bar girl would be massively appreciated!

Thanks for that, however I was hoping to get things all wrapped up early on rather than having to keep going back.

Was thinking of doing something like this:

Going in in the day briefly pretending I'm in a rush and on the phone to my mate. I'll ask her for half a coke while on the phone being animated to my mate. Basically, the story I'll be playing out with my mate will be something like 'my mate has been seeing a girl for a few weeks and it was her bday today. Because they'd only known each other for a few weeks she said not to bother getting anything (just being polite) so he didn't'. Low and behold she is now pissed off at him (for not getting anything) and is talking to me as if he doesn't understand why she's annoyed.'

I hang up saying I'm going to get another perspective. I explain it to her, have a brief exchange, down the coke and say bye. However, I plan to leave my wallet behind (only with my id, not cash/credit cards, etc) and head out in a rush.

Plan then is to call up, say I left my wallet and ask to pick it up. Arrange to give her flowers to say thank you and ask her to take her out for a drink to thank her. What do you think????

Hired gun game is harder then a normal cold approach. also, dont both the bartender when they are bussy: thats annoying.

More difficult than you think. Understand, that's what they do for a living! Getting swept off her feet would be nice, but I promise, it's not on her mind. Frankly, I feel, going in alone doesn't work out as well. I prefer to have a friend or two. Establish yourself as not trying to pick up but social proof of having your mates and being fun loving! You are the center of attention, the alpha male, she's behind the bar, she notices. Bring her into a fun topic, a fun debate with friends. Make sure you're in control of it all. When you are givin her the business later and she's smilin and laughin go for it. You have to make her enjoy herself while working, she probably doesn't feel that entirely too often, those happy thoughts she'll contribute to you. Should be an easy close after!
