Post subject:  List opener

This works in a situation where you will be standing besides a girl for a while; i.e. waiting for the bus...

I call this the list opener. Basically the situation is that you bet your friend that you know more about something then he/she does, and you are asking a stranger (the target) for some help:

DS: Hi, could I borrow you for a quick second.. did you by any chance watch a lot of the show 'friends' when you were a teenager?

HB: ya.. sure...

DS: Well, I bet my friend that Im better at friends trivia than she is. The bet is who can prepare a better list of the siblings of each character. I thought I knew them all, but I'm on my way to meeting her and I really need to win this thing. Here's what I got so far (show her a incomplete but prepared list of the characters with some siblings)...

This opener of course doesnt have to be limited to friends characters. Think of anything you could make a list of... like a list of discontinued childrens cereals or something... It works best when you bring the girl back to her childhood memories.. make her think of the good old 90s and she'll get all bubbly for you...

Anyways, if you get the chance check out my blog link below

I use a day-game technique which I mentioned on this page:

Also, a good opener I learned from watching Richard Macilwaine is:

You: Hey, do you think it's ok for a man to open a door for a woman in this day and age?
Her: Blah
You: Because I was just in this card shop and I opened this door for a woman and she just stood there looking at me. I actually had to push her through the door (smile).

We all have a lot of day game openers , the only thing is , that it is boring to write them again and again, if you want some , read past subjects, you're not the first guy who said "hey guys , I need a daygame opener".

So it's not because guys do not answer your topic that they do not want to help you. I don't agree with you when you said come on guys this is a community so you MUST give me openers. I mean think about it, you have a good opener , field tested ..., you post in this forum to explain it to PUAs , you contribute to the community, would you write it an other time , just for somebody who doesn't want to look for it , but, thinks that everything must come to him.

By the way, there is a topic , called : openers, may be you will find what you want in it.And please, try to do it also yourself. I think , and that is only my opinion, that you are not a true pua , when you don't make your own material, stuff, exept if you're a natural.

Post subject:  Day Game Openers

I find that the best day game openers that work for me are situational or functional. While these openers don't tend to instantly grab attention in a "flashy" way, you can use them to get in and then transition to another opener. I have also field tested them with more success than crazy opinion openers in the more rural area where I live.

For instance, if I'm at a clothes store, I might ask a girl walking around which hat she liked better, and model them for a second for her. You can keep the conversation going with a story about how you lost your old hat (include some DHV elements), etc. etc. This is a situational and somewhat functional opinion opener thats not gonna make her go "What?..."

Another example might be a book store. Find out what section she is looking for books in and ask for a recommendation. This of course helps if you know something about the books, but you can always follow it up with ANOTHER opener, maybe one of the crazy ones or one of the ones listed above.
