The hobartlair me and a few others constructed some time ago has a good collection of openers. It isn't a real fully fledged PUA lair. Just something we put together. It has a load of canned material on it. Basically collections of good openers me and a few other guys have found. http://hobartlair.myfreeforum.org/ Feel free to check it out. Most of the members are on this forum now anyway. |

FUCK THIS ,, fuck openers ,, fuck what do I say at stop light, what do I say at park , what do I say at the mall , what do I say at school................................ Fuck all those. Dude dont get me WRONG , I know I coming off kind strong BUT , check this out : You dont actually need any openers.......... All you need to say is simple things LIKE " HI " and is not WHAT YOU SAY ,, IT IS HOW YOU SAY IT makes you stands out and intersting. Also IS NOT ABOUT WHAT YOU SAY IN OPENERS, IT IS ABOUT HOW YOU FOLLOW UP AFTER THE OPENERS. GET IT ? OPENERS DOSENT COUNT ,, THE THINGS THAT COUNTS IS WHAT COMES AFTER . MAGIC J . |

Agreed. Basically use canned stuff if you cannot think of anything to say. Better to approach than not. BUt practice doing your own thing! Get creative and clever! |

I agree with you, Magic, BUT- it is easier to roll a routine once you start out with an opener. For some guys- like myself- it is tough to go anywhere from just "Hi". I like to have a good gameplan and an opener helps. Some people are just not as creative as you, I guess. So we ask for help. Not too big of a deal. |

magic is on the right track i think - in a lot of ways openers can even impede on your progression as a converstationalis and as a player.i have seen many people see a target, and say 'hold, ill just think of an opener - god, i cant think of anything!!' and then they let it go past- what should happen is natural flowing conversation ie: 'hey, i like your shoes! where did you get em? This same problem of natural flow is why MM is so shit - i believe it becomes to structured for the novice. You start to think...'geez, which phase am i up to.... oh thats right, i should start kino now....." Although i see the great benefits of MM, those of you who have your dicks suck up mysteries arse have no need to argue here, but i just think with the evolution of natural game it impedes rather than progresses an individual. try focusing on how you talk to your mates and think about it.. ie: you see a bloke with the funniest t-shirt on youve ever seen or with a country that you have also visited ... or anything... ming: hey man, that t-shirts awesome!! where did you get it?? bloke in mall: cheers man - i got it in a shop down.......blah ming: how much is it? i reckon my mates will love it if i get one! bloke: cost about $20. ming: thats cool man - i used to go to that store to get presents and shit for my.... (whatever) this above convo is a little faggy - but wait - there is a point... just substitute a bloke for a chick..... ... your not trying to poke her in the mall or get a hummer there and then - you are just having a conversation... and who knows where that could lead..... |
