Post subject:  Approaching HB's who are working
There's this HB9 thats a cashier at the convenient store by my work. Im thinking a full-on Opinion opener isnt appropriate since she's obviously doesnt have too much time to answer.

Ive tried observational openers here and there but i can only take them so far and then i resort to AFC behavior....

What kind of game can you spit at a convenient store cashier when your time is obviously limited at the check out??

ask her "spider man or super man?" this sometimes leads to long convos. if she says spidey then you should be on super man's side to carry it on. you can do this one with other things: celebs (angie vs anniston is great btw), shoes, burger joints you name it.

or ask her if she gets to pocket any of the cash she takes in. she most likely will say no, then you tell her that you only like rich girls. make sure you grinn after you say the last thing. sometimes this one works out well, sometimes you throw a hail mary.

Someone asked the very same question not too long ago. Can't remember who said it, but they have a very, very good solution to this.

I am not one for direct openers like the one above but it just might work in a situation like this. Also you could try to think up some situational openers about the place that she works and then walk into some of mysterys material (I know I know I don't normally suggest mystery) BUT after a situational opener some of his material could really help you stay in a conversation comfortably with her such as the (did you see the fight outside a bit ago string) after the situational opener could really get a conversation going.

When you don't have much time, don't go indirect. Usually, people don't have much time, that's why most daygame experts use direct game.

"You look fun so I thought I had to come and say Hi. I'm XXX by the way."

Confident, strong body language and good eye contact are key to pull off a direct opener correctly.
