Post subject:  opinion openers @ clubs
Well I had an interesting night yesterday. I went to a club and opened a few sets with an opinion opener. However after opening the set the target's friends always accused me of hitting on their friend. I haven't gamed alot yet so that was pretty new to me. I successfully defused one set with cockblock by negging the mother hen but didn't wanna go on since I actually didn't find them that attractive so I just left them.

I'm just wondering if anyone has had this happen often? You use opinion opener and within the first couple of minutes the girls actually see through the opener into your true intentions and start protecting each other from your attempts! Do you just neg the target's friends when this is the case? How do you guys solve the situation?

I'm also thinking about going direct KTVIP-style like asking the # within the first minute and leaving. How do you guys go direct at clubs?

deep down they always know you are hitting on them if you approach them.

anyways, you're obviously not doing the opener right, the key to opinion openers is to respond to their reactions. always bust on their reactions and tell them why you asked them this.

then just talk random like, why are you guys standing alone here, or who are you with anyway? how do you know eachother etc etc.

befriend her friends, else theyll take your target away.
i dont like to approach her friends, i like to directly walk to the target and ask her the opinion opener, since i dont want to waste time on her if i dont even like her.

I only go direct these days, anything else takes too much effort for stages that can be easily skipped.
I usually come on strong in the first 10 seconds then cut back, so would approach and say "Hey I thought I would come and chat to you guys because you're a little bit on the cute side", whilst touching the smalls of their backs.
You then have to pull out of the intrusive state and make an observation. So you take your hands off, keep the energy up and comment on their handbag or something. Then you are in conversation, they know you like them (both of them, crucial for pitting them against each other).
If you have a wing get them in at this stage and have them talk to the one you are interested in (you will swap later) and be making eye contact throughout (at this stage you are also gaming her friend a little so that she doesn't cock block).

I used to use the opinion opener a lot. I've found lately that situational openers are so much easier. If you're worried about transitioning you'll find it much easier to transition from a situational opener than an opinion opener.

Thanks for the advice. Just wondered that if the point in opinion openers is to just bust on the target who answers then I might reconsider my opener. My opener was actually originally used to erase my AA -> "What's the worst way a girl can do for a guy who's trying to hit on her?". I just used this once in a club with positive results (didn't end in a close though :() so I just figured I'd use the same stuff again.

Up until now I've actually just noticed that the success relies much on the state of the target. Too bad yesterday evening the couple of sets that I approached weren't in the right mood to be gamed (except for the set in which I managed to defuse the cockblock).

man I am not sure what other guys feel about this but why spend ages trying to convince a girl you are not too sure about to like you when you can bide your time and get a girl you like
