How do you guys approach a set that are already in mid-conversation? I always feel like they'll say something like "we're busy. you're rude. you've just interupted us." However, when I'm in mid-convo with my friends and someone butts in, we usually don't mind. |

I often have a similar dilemma. I try to wait til a lull or brief silence in their dialogue. Remember that girls out in bars/clubs do secretly want to be opened, so it doesn't really matter if you interrupt IMO. |

Just be polite.Remember that girls out in bars/clubs do secretly want to be opened, so it doesn't really matter if you interrupt IMO. Says "sorry to inturrupt but..." or "Excuse me a second". place a hand on a shoulder or tap her elbow! Easy peasey |

The exact same way as I would if they weren't having a conversation. As a matter of fact, how often are people in a group not talking? Quote: I always feel like they'll say something like "we're busy. you're rude. you've just interupted us."
Well, put yourself in their shoes... oh wait...Quote: However, when I'm in mid-convo with my friends and someone butts in, we usually don't mind.
... looks like you already did that. So why are you even asking this? Stop worrying so damn much. And stop thinking so hard.
