Post subject:  Immediate Kino(Hug) Opener
Ok, I thought of this last night as I was trying to fall asleep after my ordeal in Ann Arbor. (FR over in the FR forum.) I thought it was a good idea at the time, and could possibly be a good day game opener. PUA's and AFC's alike...I present to you...

"The Hug Day Opener"

PUA: Hey, I was wondering if you could do me a favor. *Smile and make eye contact. Sound genuine as possible*

HB: Maybe. It Depends. We'll see. Sure. Blah blah blah.

PUA: Well, I just found out that today is national give a hug day, and I haven't given out a hug yet, and I bet you haven't either.

*Open arms, keep smiling.*

If Yes: Instant Kino. Receive hug and follow up with a neg.

PUA: Jeeze girl! I didn't expect a bear hug! Let's try that again without you squeezing the life out of me. *Possible second hug*

OR

PUA: What kind of half ass hug was that? That one didn't count, so put some effort into this one! *Possible second hug*

*If you receive a hug, or a second hug, compliment how she smells/hugs/whatever, and introduce yourself.*


If No:

PUA: Yeah, you're right, it's not polite to hug somebody you don't know. By the way, my name is ****, what's yours?

*If she complies and gives her name, say that now that you know each other there should be no problem to give a hug.*

OR

PUA: I promise I don't smell bad...or wait, maybe YOU smell bad! That has to be it.

*Sniff the air and make a funny/disgusted face and look at her...make it obvious you're joking with her though. If she says she doesn't smell bad tell her to prove it and open your arms for a hug again.*

There it is, any comments, feedback, criticism is more then welcomed. I just thought of this today...so it isn't field tested yet. Will definitely try it out though. If anyone else thinks it's good enough to try, feel free to give it a go and let us know how it went. We can compare notes! :)

I'm im a newbie myself but it seems a tiny bit.. lame. Asking for hugs? DLV? It's seems pretty cheesey aswell, i mean it could work but i wouldnt use it.
Also saying she smells.. no.

Eh, I figured if there was any type of touch that a complete stranger might be ok with, it would be a hug. I dunno, it seems like a great ice breaker to me. I wouldn't deny somebody a hug. It's just a hug!

Also as for the smell neg, it's not a direct insult or anything so I doubt she would take it that way. If she did get mad over something small like saying she smells in a joking manner because she denied the kino, that's cool, I don't wanna hang out with somebody that couldn't catch that small of a joke anyway. Maybe it's just my sense of humor is ridiculous though. I dunno.

Still gonna try this out though.

*edit* Hrmm, this could possibly be used as a routine rather than an opener also. Maybe bust out something like this after you have a level of comfort with the target? I bet it would work more often at that point. Just a thought.

Yeh let us know how it works man. Fair play if it goes down smooth. But i think "you smell" "lol jokes" isn't going to get the best reaction.

Word. Well, hopefully I won't even have to get to that point. Or if it does go to that point, I'll just neg her on something else then. It's an easily replaced neg, and was more or less just used for an example.
