Post subject:  Need Help breaking the Ice!!!
Background: I met this girl when i went to the trainers room to get some ice. She was an athletic trainer there. She helped me get it and we started talking there just for a little bit. I asked her to pick up a gatorade bottle that i dropped, but while doing so, she said,"Of course i'll pick it up, you're the nicest person ever." -- I don't know if that's a good thing or bad. I just see it as a positive thing.

I have seen her twice since. We have just talked about classes and what time she works. It seems pretty dry, but she seems excited to see me whenever she does.

I feel like I need to break the ice and neg her somewhat so she doesn't think i'm a "nice guy". I need her to see me as a possible mate. If i get through this ice I feel like it will be much smoother and easier to talk and flirt with her.

Any Suggestions of a opener/routine that would fit?

so are u an athlete at a college and she is an athletic trainer?

if so i think she can get in trouble for doing anything with u. i played college soccer for two years and i was told by one of our trainers it was against policy for trainers to do anything athletes. maybe that is just at my school, i dont know.

The next time you see her just be open and forward with her. It sounds like from your description that she's into you a bit, so try pushing things forward.

Go with something like, "So you seem like a pretty cool person and I'd definitely like to continue this conversation outside of the gym." If she says yeah definitely, which she probably will, ask "How should we go about doing that?" and most likely she'll either suggest something or give her your number (sorry I forgot if she did already).

If you want to try a different approach, go with the "Hey so I'm getting lunch/dinner/doing x in a little while and you should definitely join me." It gives her the sense that you're busy, but would like her to tag along anyway.
