Post subject:  Need Some help, reviewing my opening

Alright, So first off i'm new to this and i've been reading the forums getting some ideas, and today i made my first approach it was a diaster and i was wondering if so people could give me some pointers of what i did wrong

The girl sits next to me in my class, she had moved her desk closer today, to get a better view of the movie playing, i thought i would take advantage of this opportunity and try to use the peanut butter or jelly: opener except with the teacher near by i couldn't talk, i took out a piece of paper hoping that maybe i could get a casual note going between us, so at the top of it i wrote peanut butter or Jelly? and placed in on her desk, she casually picked it up without looking at me read it and flicked the paper back at me.

Like I said i'm new to this and i would really appreciate any help anyone could give

My advice would be don't try to pick up women somewhere where you can't talk. Also if you are in a class with the person why use crappy openers, I would stick to situational openers, they will seem more chatty and less awkward.

In my opinion passing notes in class is pretty juvenile! Unless you have already talked to her before I think it shows a lack of confidence, not entirely but that it's lacking!

I agree with Jaybot! Wait until you are out of class and then comment on something that happened in the class, like how boring the lecture was, or ask her if she noticed the kid nodding off in the corner, etc. People goto class to get an education...that's their primary reason for being there! Unless you can present something that is of 'higher value' than education, you're kinda shit outta luck! I don't think peanut butter or jelly overpowers education!

If you really want to stick with in class PU though, then I would suggest opening her about something related to the topic at hand! Because it shows that you are actually interested in something other than fuckin off at school!

I actually disagree with some of the replies...Maybe cuz I just came outta school so I remember what its like. This chick is very possibly fulla sh1t, I wouldn't say she's that into the education part of it cuz every person thats in school, or most of them atleast arent into the 'education' part of it ;)

Look, if she's stuck up I'd try and neg her about what she did, make it something funny that you can throw out when you lined up outta class or if you see her during break...thats gna make her wonder about you.

I do agree though that trying to game a girl you don't have any rapport with is gna be hard...so rather create a situation where you can come off with higher value thats why Im thing negs are a good idea =)

AnywayZ, good luck wit it bra

Diesel's right, but use this to your advantage. You know you two already have one thing in common, this class. You can ask her if she understood something you didn't or find something you can DHV in relation to the class, but I would be careful of asking questions that enhance this idea that you're distracted because she obviously isn't.
