My mate knows of the game but doesnt use it. He talks to loads of random girls anyway while i tend to stnad on the side with the rest of the lads. ive stopped this by going up to my mate and the HB and sayin 'oi, arent you going to inroduce me to your new friend?'. he does, i say hello, an then sometimes an awkward silence arises and the HB carries on talking to my mate. was what i said right? or could i say something better? also what do i say after that??? |

You say your mate doesn't use the game but think about it, he is talking to girls, you are standing on the sidelines, you try to steal his set, she carries on talking to him. Sounds like he's doing just fine to me, personally I don't like the idea that you are trying to steal his sets, whatever happened to bros before hoes. Just open up your own sets. |

eh theres nothing wrong with what you asked. dont listen to the guys above me. anyways you should have followed up with something.. its a friendly question. your friend brought her over to the circle so its not unaturall you want to know who she is.. doesnt mean your hitting on her unless you ask in a certain manner and the guy who brought her over should of been the one introducing you guys to her. it would be a DHV showing he's not intimidated by the thought of her being attracted to one of his friends.. but judging from what happen it was a DLV not only for you but for the both of you |

Hi Brookes, I know that this is probably against PUA ethos, but a surefire solution is to AMOG him (see AMOGGING by Tyler Durden). Just make sure you do this subtly so your friend won't be thinking negative of your approach. But it should give you catch up oppertunity and you can start with an Alpha frame. Make sure that as soon as you enter, the conversation is triangular, funny, but that YOU ARE THE ALPHA MALE. Askin your friend if you can talk to the girl he's talking to is definitely not Alpha male... have fun. I do it with my natural wingmen all the time. They don't even notice it, but the HBs definitely do! Happy sailing matey... |

One thing that I tend to do just because I do, is if you see your buddy talking to someone(I say someone because I do this to everyone) walk up to him ask him a simple question that's not too out of the ordinary, for example, I have a friend that tends to 'dissappear' whenever we go out, so i'll go and ask if they've seen her. As soon as you get your quick little response from your friend look over to who he's talking to and ask them if they're a pirate, ninja, whatever, just make sure it's a little odd, and you say it with a straight face. 99% of the time that person will have no idea what to say! then you can choose to stay and try to converse or walk away and continue on with whatever. Not only is it hilarious for you(and your friend if he knows you enough) but it seriously breaks the ice and if you do choose to walk it'll give you something to talk about with that person later, like "Oh man, you shoulda seen your face, it was priceless!!" or you can neg them a little if you stay... Any way it's just a fun thing to do, it breaks the ice, shows you have a sense of humor and you're confident to walk up, interrupt, say something weird and neg a complete stranger. ...Ohh and I almost forgot the point of this! I have unintentionally 'taken' the attention of quite a few HB's from my friends this way! I don't ever mean to steal the set from my friends, but it just kinda happens sometimes. |
