Hey guys, Went sarging at the mall today and I went direct for the first time on HB9. I really didn't know what I was doing but I just went for it. This is how it went down (credit to Dimitri for this opener): Me: Hey, I had to come over and say how absolutely stunning you are. Her: Thank you. Me: Actually, I don't have much time to talk, I'm meeting up with some friends in a alittle while. Why don't we exchange numbers so we can continue this conversation later. =) Her: Actually, sorry I have a bf. Anyway, I couldn't try this opener again because there were no more HB9 or better around and I wouldn't seem congruent. I just wanted to try it to see how it would work versus the indirect approach. So, my question is how do I transition to regular game after the direct opener? What do I say? I would feel awkward using an opinion opener and negs wouldn't make sense after I just said she was gorgeous. How do I continue? Thanks All! But I am willing to bet that this is what destroyed what ever chance you had with the girl. You may have done better with saying how some piece of clothing looks on her or something. Also you asked for the girl's number way to quick. Very few guys are able to get numbers than quickly. day game is the perfect time for direct as long as you seem sincere, in a club I have only had direct work about twice. As for following direct I usually hop in at A1/A2 at that point but make sure you disqualify or she won't feel she has a challenge. HB: I have a bf PUA: awesome, I have a gf |

^^well after she only says thanks, where do you go from there? You have nothing to build on. Asking an opinion will get her talking and that's where you can find hook points to continue the convo. That's the problem I see with direct openers. I would definitely like to include direct openers in my game, but I need advice on continuing! |

i think you need to use the SPAM that you are in. if its a mall i would say "you look down to earth and i need a womens perspective on something, i have a blind date and would like to know what a woman would like the guy to wear." this can allow her to ask some questions like "where were you going to meet at" etc. if you are lucky enough you can invite her to a coffee or possibly shop together. i have had this happen to me before, they are shopping anyways so why not. the comment you said was more of a night/club game opener than mall/coffee shop opener. |
