A couple of times I've seen a HB and quickly thought which celebrity they most remind me of, and then opened with Me: Hey, do you know who you look like? HB: No.../Who? Me: Such-and-such HB: Really?/No.../lol And I've found I can get a decent convo that began with stories/opinions between us about whoever they look like. However, a fellow PUA I was out with thought this wasn't a great idea because it shows interest straight away. Any opinions? |

Use the look alike opener then use a playful neg to disqualify yourself and then continue conversation |

Just change it a little say something like... PUA: Do you know which celebrity you remind me (don't say look, they will make that association on there own) of? HB: no, who? (expecting to be compared to some famous bombshell) PUA: Rosie O'donnell! HB: UH! PUA: hahaha...(and into your next routine) |

What about... Me: Do you know what celebrity you look like? Target: [expecting a lame opener where u compare her to a hot celebrity] who? Me: A younger [non-attractive female celebrity. Not someone UGLY but not someone that will be in Maxim's top 100. Be like, "That news anchor from Channel 5 News. The twitchy weather girl."] It seems kind of like a let down because it's not the hot celebrity she might have been expecting but its also not an obvious joke like "Donald Trump". It seems like an honest comparison to a television weather girl who isn't really attractive. It makes it seem like you talked to her just because she looked like some1 famous..not some1 hot. Does that work? I need to try this. |

Yeah, I wouldn't use this unless there's something of a neg built in. Maybe pick someone genuinely hot but then throw in "yeah she makes the worst movie" or "yeah I can't stand her voice." I dunno if I'd use that as an opener though, feels like more of a neg to throw in later on. My problem with opening with it is that even if it is used as a neg it's conveying that you've noticed her, and that gives value no matter what. I much prefer indirect opener's that make it seem like they just happen to be the nearest group of people, not one that you were drawn to for some reason. High value people don't notice, they get noticed. So if she caught your eye, you start the process by giving her a value head start and you'll need to overcome that. I prefer not to have to work uphill. ; ) |

This is basically like the one Cajun used when he was on keys to the vip. He was walking behind the chick and said "dont worry i'm not following you i'm just going the same way" then he grabbed her arm, stopped her and said "hey are you an actress?!" i forget how it went from there but about 30-60 seconds later he got the digits. |
