What dyou think of

'I think you can tell a lot about a person by their shoes, do you agree?'

It lets you go in to analysing the girl, in a playful way. You can make a few loose jokey comments about her, like "Ok your shoes are black, so I think you are quite refined but not afraid to look sexy", or whatever. If you are way off on any of your points, ask her to analyse you by your shoes.

i think the 'you can tell a lot about a person by their shoes' is a good opening sentance.

because - it makes the girl wonder what you think of her which makes her obviously hope that u think she IS refined and sexy, but

if you then said 'i can tell your refined but also sexy' you are IOI'ing her which makes her 'better then you' before u even start.

if she agrees that u can tell a lot about a person by their shoes, u could say 'ur shoes look new and expensive i bet your high maintenance... - might work better on a HB9-10 that normally gets a 'mumbeling i think u look hot and ur shoes are hot and i like your hair its hot too kind of bs'

Interesting... if girls start asking me back about MY shoes, it's gonna be funny. My shoes are worn out, athletic shoes. You should try it. You can tell her that you've had those shoes for running long distances and it never failed to lose the cops on foot. As well as saving a girl once from getting hit by a car in the expense of your shoes being all torn apart. Hmm maybe I should try that soon.

Btw, I'm new at this PUA thing. But my creative juice is flowing like spartan madness!

Sorry I dont really like this opener...

First off you start by commenting some visual characteristic. Shoes are important to girls and of value for her apperance. The point of an opener is to draw attention away from her apperance. But, prove me wrong. Try it in the field!

Girls are usually really observant with first impressions, generally making nice shoes a must for guys. For the hook, a girl is going to agree with your statement, so you're going to need a lot of threads to go with which will depend on her shoes. This is a good thing if you can shoot something out on the fly.

However, I agree with 'YeahYou'. Definitely an IOI since most girls will be spending a LOT of time coordinating their shoes.

Keep us posted on the results.

it could work, but I don't think as an opener. Maybe as a comfort routine. I pulled off something like this before.

Me: I like your shoes, are they ____?

HB: yes/no, they are ____.

Me: Ah. Y'know, many think that they type of shoe a woman wears says something about her personality, but really, it's all about the bottom of their shoe that says it all

HB: really?

Me: Yup. Here, lets take a look

HB: *slips off shoe*

Me: Ah... you could see the tread is more worn out here then there. This means blah blah blah blah

HB: :D

Basically, it's a cold read. I'm sure there's truth in the tread-personality thing as I've been told by my cousin that used to manage at Foot Locker, but really I'm just stating observations I've noticed about her. If she's confident and forward, then I'll say "Oh, it looks like you have an aggressive step; that means you're confident... but... blah blah blah" Or if she's shy at first and it took me a while to get her to attract then "Ah, you have a soft step, that means you're picky about the people you trush blah blah blah"

However, I've only done this routine once, and I made it up on the spot; we were back at my place, and I was trying to get her to be comfortable taking little bits of her clothing off. First the shoes, then her shirt... :wink:

walk up to a girl, as soon as you get there notice her, look down and say: "hey, I like your shoes (shirt, ect.), I saw a girl like 20 minutes ago wearing the same kind....that is a complement/ neg in the same opening line

It sounds unusual - good. but - black shoes??? loads of people will be wearing black shoes. why are you asking her? if shes wearing a colour that stand out then ok. but not anything normal like black.
